What a nice video and... a money saver! I was just going to give them a try, thanks a lot for the honest summary! Seems like they just send watches that may look nice on photo / video, but a nightmare for a real daily use. Giving it a second thought now, putting 'Mafia' in a brand's name is maybe a red flag from now on. Thanks again, take care!

Glad I could help. Honestly your best option is to save up a bit and get you a nice watch. There’s lots of nice watches that are fairly affordable. You’ll wear it more. A 50 watch that you wear 5 times coats $10 each time you wear it. A $300 watch that you wear 3000 times costs you ten cents each time you wear it.

Cannot believe the watches that wrist mafia are sending out, wow, avoid avoid avoid, well done my friend. I will add my two cents re watchgang. It’s best for US residents that don’t have to pay additional fees, ie currency exchange difference and import/duty fees. For watchgang, I recommend their black tier program, it is in my opinion the best value for dollar spent. DO NOT ENROLL in their platinum tier, if you have 300 US to spend on a watch you have enough to buy a quality brand like Seiko, citizen, Bulova, or other more popular and favourable micro brands that have been tested and proven. Congrats again on the growth of your channel Bill, very well deserved

My suggestion, pick your own watches. It’s a decent gift for someone but if yore able, just save the money and get a watch every 3-6 months. You’ll be much happier.

Me too. And, it’s why I make reviews. Wrist mafia has some of the best looking ads around. Then you get the watches and they feel like they came from the quarter dispensers from the grocery store.

One of my first watches was a $10 100% stainless steel George watch. Looked alright, felt terrible, but kept time basically perfectly

Vegan leather strap.... fancy way to say cheap plastic strap. I own about 30 or so watches. I have an old Tag, couple of seikos and citizens, and a handful of Invictas. I've seen the ads for wristmafia and I can see all the watches they show are cheap. Even my Diesel watches look better than any of those. Don't waste your money. You can buy cheap Casios every month and get quality. Plus stores like Ross often sell old stock watches for around $50. I've got an old Tommy Hilfiger automatic that's still working from Ross. Also pawn shops are often a good place to pick up watches. I have bought 3 G-shocks at decent prices. One I only paid 35. Plus I picked up a Seiko Dive automatic for $200. So skip wristmafia...

I wasn’t a fan of wrist mafia. I enjoyed getting watches each month. Watch gang was better. But now that I’m done reviewing them, I’m just saving and getting specific watches that I want.

I explained that in the video. By signing up for several watch subscriptions, I was able to show people what to expect so they can decide for themselves if it is what they want or if it’ll be better for them to save up for a nicer every-day watch.

The jokes were getting negative reviews. But I do miss them too. I need to sneak some back in. LOL. No, the revenue wasn’t enough to account for the watches but it lessened the cost for me and I had fun so it was worth it.
