WTF Happened to KEVIN SPACEY?

WTF Happened to Kevin Spacey? That's an understatement. Once the most celebrated character actor in Hollywood, who became an unlikely star after winning an Oscar for Sam Mendes' American Beauty (1999) following another Oscar for The Usual Suspects (in 1995) and his memorable role in David Fincher's Se7en, Spacey has arguably starred in more classics than many of his contemporaries. In addition to the previously mentioned movies, he also starred in the amazing L.A. Confidential, the underrated The Negotiator, Swimming with Sharks, Glengarry Glen Ross, Baby Driver, and also starred on Netflix's first big hit, House of Cards.
It all came crashing down when Anthony Rapp accused Spacey of making a sexual advance at him when he was only fourteen years old. Shortly after, other men came forward with sexual harassment and assault claims, and the fallout was fierce. In this episode, we explore his rise and fall, with it ranking as one of the more troubling stories we've tackled on WTF Happened to this Celebrity.
To note: since this video was published Kevin Spacey was found innocent of all criminal charges levelled against him.

It's undeniable that he's a great actor. Despite having a good cast, we clearly saw how House of Cards immediately became crap without him.

@@audreymuzingo933 yeah. They basically just jumped right into it, implying that he's dead for whatever reason. The plot was pretty confusing and without Spacey the show kinda sucked, so I only watched 2-3 episodes.

@Carlos Piazza well. You know how it goes... With 30 or so people coming forward, he probably is guilty. I still don't know how I feel about people waiting for several decades and let actors build a career before suddenly remembering being sexually assaulted long time ago. It's nearly impossible to prove after such a long time, so it ends being this weird defamation lawsuit thing where people get canceled over allegations and the outcome and objective truth doesn't matter any more

"American Beauty" is one of the most conventional and rethorical mainstream movies about US-family and society. In the real life Kevin is too feminine for that kind of macho's roles. The indipendent Todd Solondz's "Happiness" (1996), about the same subject, is a movie on another planet.

he is one of the best actors. ALL celebritards in hollyweird are pervs and pedos, every single one of them. That is a fact that has been going on since the industry started. ANYONE who follows celebritards personal life, where they live, what they eat, watch awards shows, follow them on social media, etc. have serious mental issues that should be addressed. I like the movie driving miss daisy, but I don't hang out at the piggly wiggly waiting for them to show up. That is sick and twisted behavior for anyone to be following celebritards. I will watch all of kevin spacey movies as they are good, like rules of engagement. metoo is a slush fund scam and you shouldn't listen to any of those half wits because it's all corruption.

The easy way is that in light of massive crimes, their very way of life should be picked apart and given to the people. All their future property rights to their films and etc and profits therein are invested into a trust which is dumped into the public with clear money trails. They never, ever get a cent from any of their work ever again, but their work is allowed to endure - solely to enrich the people they harmed. of course like hell any sort of property seizure even if it were for the people would fly, it's only kosher if it's for the government's pockets lmao

Actually in this video, you see Frank looking at the black limo. It was part of a dream sequence where Union soldiers come out of the woods and start firing on him as he runs and dives into the limo. I figured they cut the scene since at that point he was President and you have US Army soldiers chasing/firing at him. Actually on my Old Timey Casting RU-vid, I have a bunch of sea shanties me and my guys were singing while they were setting up that shot.

A similar thing happened to Cliff Richard, and it completely ruined his life after the allegation was made until he was proved innocent years later. Same with Woody Allen - investigated twice decades ago, and cleared, yet MSM and the Sinatra mafia vindictively defame him. What also concerns me is that there are clearly famous criminals out here who are never revealed to be criminals, so for those who denounce great works of art on this basis, it soon falls apart because any number of other works may be secretly tainted. I'm conscious that those that are found out may the less powerful ones, or falll guys etc, too.

Yeah hiring an inexperienced armor to save money and because Alec Baldwin is a veteran in the movie business claims he knew everything about firearms and crew safety and proved to the world not only is he is an idiot he’s also a narcissistic manipulative individual who will weasel his way out of trouble when a boy will never see his mother again and his father has to tell his son why mommy’s killer is still able to roam free when the average Joe would’ve gotten no special treatment. Accident or not he’s definitely guilty beyond belief it took a warrant to obtain his phone months after the incident and he keeps running his mouth to save face instead of listening to the lawyers to keep silent instead he goes on scripted live TV and explains his version of the truth. But like usual if a sec offending actor gets off nearly Scott free, then so will Alec Baldwin because he has money and will do whatever he can to stay out of prison.

If an actor does something prosecutable then throw them in prison, if not, don't deprive of us of their work. Separate the art from the artist, Hollywood is filled to the brim with the worst human garbage imaginable and literally every production is stained by these people. If audiences TRULY cared they'd never watch another movie or television show ever again, but they don't, it's completely performative. Absurd and unjust that we punish some but not others, and as a result the last season of House Of Cards was ruined and we don't get to see one of the best actors in Hollywood in movies anymore.
