I know the role wasn't made for Matt Berry, but it feels as though it was. His vocalisation and eccentric outbursts fit the role so well. I bet he had a blast filming this, following the script but employing his typical mannerisms - with no question from direction, that it only enhances the character.

Best character in my opinion. Matthew Berry kills this role for me. His line delivery. His quotes. His unusual kindness sometimes. And his overt horniess All fucking awesome
I love pretty much all of his line delivery in this show but there are some over the top gems that are the best. Mannahattaa is one of them. Neu Yawk Citayy is another. Every time he says BAT! There’s so many, though. Too many to name. Him as Jackie Daytona? Too much! 😂 I walk around randomly saying “My sweet cheese. My good time boaaay”. Thanks for this video!

Matt berry is one of my favourite actors and he’s so underrated. I’m so glad he landed this role and it shows everyone how amazing he actually is. Watch year of the rabbit and toast of London which are his other shows.
