Testing erasing each of the included markers with the Wyrmwood battle mat and Wyrmwood magic juice.
Follow Up to Video: Clorox Disinfecting Bathroom Bleach-Free Cleaner worked like a charm to remove everything and my battle mat looks like new. Despite the difficulty of removing some of the markings I would highly recommend the battle mat and markers (The markers are extremely vibrant). I just won’t be buying magic juice when this bottle runs out.

Quick follow up to video: I used Clorox Disinfecting Bathroom Bleach-Free Cleaner on mat and it got everything off with no issue including the blue stain. HIGHLY recommend using this with the mat. Again really great video. Glad to hear you were able to get it off with the bleach free cleaner. Pretty disappointing that their branded black marker left the discoloration with leaving it for such a short period of time. Especially when they hyped up their cleaning spray. Very informative thanks for posting.

I find it best to wait 30-60 seconds after spraying the solution on before wiping, it seems to come off a lot easier in my experience

I know on my older Chessex Battlemat if I have a marker stain that won't come all the way off sometimes just remaking it again and cleaning it off right then will take the stain off. The marker will reactivate the ink. I wonder if a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser would work on it also.

Did you get staining with the wet erase markers? The “erase at night” seems counter to the point of the table as one would set up , have a gaming session in the well , then cover the well for a week and come back then to pick up where you left off -with the map still drawn on the mat. So seems to nullify bothering with the battle mat at all. Seems the black stains within an hour and the other colors wipe off mostly when dry- so they won’t even stay down. What is the point of the mat at all? Just get a cheap plain mat you chuck every once in a while.

I recommend watching my other battle mat video on cleaning off stains. It was the answer to this first video and reassured me it’s ok to leave marker on for long periods of time with the right cleaning product.

So forgive me im very new to dnd and such. When would you use a battle mat? My basic understanding is you draw out your dungeon or what not on the mat. Which you would probably do before people show up. But from what it looks like it doesn't look like you can have the marker on that long? Doesnt that defeat the purpose?

sometimes you draw in the moment for a quick unplanned purpose or you might have to modify what you drew originally (wall gets busted open or caved in), etc. That said I found a solution to the problem and will be showcasing it in my next video so be on the lookout for it!

They originally were going to use the chessex brand product and went with this one which as their brand on it. There is no indication of manufacturer so hard to say since this is my first battle mat.
