Do you have to wait a couple months to put the top coat on

No, not at all. Instructions say one coat and let dry for 48 hours and then top coat.

Isaac was practically yelling at me for grinding the rust out there lol. I'm like that looks terrible. I don't care about the dents and scratches but the rust is not good!
