+Nick Rides sadly I don't know 100% but I suppose that it's either a problem with power (Maybe bad battery or the bike is not generating electricity). The other option is that the speedo is moist damaged, in that case the only solution is to change the unit
What upgrades has this got e.g. 70 top end, exhaust, bigger jets, bigger carb ?? And whats the fastest you've got out of it ?? Ive purchased one myself and it was a project and just finishing it off, just want to know so i know if mine will be like this Thanks
+Nick Rides hahah way to go dude !!! This bike is believe it or not actually original. And as of the moment I don't have any plans to upgrade it, however make sure to PM me when the video is up so I can check it out :)
They all have stock you can take the metal piece from exhaust and replace it with a size 100 and right next to the battery theres a black box that has many wires take a 5mm drill and drill trought the o letter on the morac
+hc tunings hey buddy!! Sorry that I didn't saw your message earlier however I'm here to answer the question now :) I would rate my bike 10/10 since it is in very good condition. Though I've driven similar bikes in worse condition and in those cases the my rating would drop severely. So my tip to you: get at bike in good condition and make sure to go over the bike and look for mistakes before buying it. As far as engine noise goes it also depends heavily on where you live. In Sweden you can buy different exhaust-system for these bikes, however in that case it would just be a matter of doing a re-regeneration and you would be good to go :)
What year is this bike?If is over 2007 It have RPM limiter? Mine (dt50 2007) ORIGINAL can't go over 8000 rpm... I want remove this limiter... sorry for very very very bad english!
+Motor ”Shado's” Machine hey!! This bike is a 2008 model. And yes I have the same "problem with my bike". I've heard that it's quite easy to remove it though I don't suggest you do. Feel free to ask any further questions. Btw.... Your English is actually quite good. Keep on practicing and you will get better :)
+Freek Heurkens short answer: around 60 kph on flat surface. (Stock) Long answer: when I bought the bike it did somewhere around 55 with me on (around 90 kg). Half a year went by and I got in a bad accident. Later on when I got the bike back it did 60... So my tip to you, by a dt because they are the best 50cc mopeds you can buy for Money. However don't modify your since gaining 10 kph ain't worth the risk... Good luck with your purchase buddy :)
+Max Van herpen the odometer is in a kind of "split layout" where the top half of the odometer shows you RPM, battery, temperature. The bottom half shows you clock, 0-40, lap times (yes that's a thing), RPM, as well as trip-odometer. If you'd like to I could do a video about this :)
+Mozzie Sure!!!! I've made a video about this called something like "Yamaha dt 50- acceleration and top speed" But the top speed is somewhere around 58 kph
Tjena! Har något problem med min DT50R och den låter inte normalt. Allt är original på den. Jag har 2 klipp på min kanal om någon kanske kommer upp med något tips :)
+Pär Nordqvist the bike is according to me very easy to drive, however the off-road tires can make it somewhat hard sometimes. The bike is also surprisingly light, though this depends on how strong you are etc... Feel free to browse the Filip Films page for more content on this specific bike :)
i cant tell from the video, does it have a rpm gauge? im converting from the racer type yamaha tzr and have gotten used to the rpm gauge (meaning im not so good at listening for when i should change gears) also is 50 km/h its max speed?
+supercoockie1 well actually the bike has two rpm gauges, one graphical and one with letters, al on the odometer. I've also done a video about this so go check that out if you'd like to
it won't go any faster, because the top gear redline will still be the same speed. you will have to change the gearing on the rear wheel to a smaller one. if you find the a size that balances the acceleration and the top speed, you can probably get it up to around 110kph
