Replacing the starter clutch in Jeremiah's Yamaha Raptor 250 powered race quad. I was wrong though. I thought it was making a weird noise, but it was actually coming from the starter itself.
Hey im just wondering should there be any play in the gear idler 2? Im troubleshooting mine but the gear looks fine so im wondering if its just the shaft that holds it in place or if its the gear
I don’t remember for sure. I think I used my cheap steering wheel puller. Sorry I didn’t get more footage. That was when my wrist was broken, I was struggling more than usual with the camera.
Hey man can you help me with my raptor 250, so when I go to put my battery on like when I go to hook up the last cable to the battery as soon as it hits the battery it sparks a little and tries to start like without me even turning the key and pressing the button
Caleb Mathis The first thing I’d check would be the starter solenoid. Sounds like it’s stuck. We had to replace my son’s for the same reason. We got ours from Rockymountainatvmc.com
