Hello yogis! Balance EFFORT and EASE in this Yin and Yang yoga class. First half is Vinyasa and the second half is a passive stretch practice. Let me know if you like this video and want to save it to your device for watching offline. I can add it to my online store for you to download. Thanks everyone! - Maris :)
Dear Maris, you are a fantastic yoga teacher. I've been doing yoga with your wonderful guidance for more than a year now. I love all your videos and you are so calm and brilliant at guiding us through the poses plus you plan such lovely fluid links between movements. From London, thank you, thank you, thank you. X
Wow thank you so much Maris. Amazing class. Such beautiful, calming guidance even through the more challenging Vinyasa part of the practice. The Yin part was simply wonderful. Such an incredible all round, mindful, meditative lesson.

I needed this so much. I've been traveling for the last month, haven't been practicing... so I was kind of dreading my first day on the mat, knowing my body was totally out of alignment. The mixture of yin and yang was exactly what I needed to get back on track. Thank you so much!!! 🙏🏾

VERY much enjoyed this class. would love to see more yin/yang classes as I love having the opportunity to both move strong & stretch deep. as always thanks for sharing your gift!
You are my first subscription in a long time. I am picky about my yoga and you've combined the perfect amount of vinyasa and yin that I like. You even introduced a few poses I've never done in my 3+ years of practice! Thank you. Namaste.
I've been working through your RU-vid channel, and I have to say how much I enjoyed this video. I found it the perfect balance of power and stretching. Thank you for everything you do with this channel!
Ahhh, this practice was just what I needed today! Loved the flow, and I was able to do one-legged plank vinyasa. I guess I was feeling stronger today! Thank you for a lovely class, Maris
Wow. Thank you so much for this. Especially the smaller, more precise cues with wrist stretching and the prep to get into fish pose. Also loved the positive really encouraging thoughts towards the end just before corpse pose. "Everything I did today was enough. There's nothing left to do." Thanks for reminding me to forgive myself. Enjoyed it and am subscribing to this channel!
Thanks for practicing and subscribing, Alicia! Let me know if you need help finding anything on my channel. Welcome to the Yoga Upload community of yogis! - Maris

Beautiful, well paced, well-rounded flow. Enough challenge without feeling rushed. The end stretching was great too, addressed a little of everything, including neck and side body. Thank you 😊
Watching this video makes me regret that i have a small cyst in my wrist. i tend to practice the "hands free" classes and those are really great. Thank you for being such a great teacher.
Maris, I am going to be hard on you now, and it's out of love and respect that I do this. You are my only yoga teacher for the past year. I quit going to studios when I found you, because you were the real thing. No hype, no ridiculous claims, just a beautiful voice, pure intentions, and real yoga. This video is marketing. I would love to do a 1/2 yang, 1/2 yin practice. This is not that. This is a half baked vinyasa class. It doesn't work up to anything and the cool down is very slightly longer than normal. I feel like you slapped a name on it and shoved it out the door so you could move on with your life. If that is how it is now, it is okay. I have 6-7 of your classes that I keep in rotation, and they are enough. But I know you can do better than this, and I think you know it, too. Having a baby is not a great excuse. If you don't want to do this anymore, then don't, but the halfassing thing is way beneath you.
Megan, I welcome all feedback, both positive and negative. I've posted over 130 yoga videos in the last 2 years so I know not everyone will like everything that I put out there. If you read the full description, it very clearly states what the class is. I disagree that it's a "half-baked vinyasa class" that didn't work up to anything. All the variations on side plank and utthita hasta padangusthasana lead up to the final vasisthasana. Of course, you're free to have your own opinion on this. What I do not appreciate, however, is being accused of "halfassing" or hyping/"marketing" a video that I worked extremely hard to produce. Also, bringing my baby into the discussion is just downright disrespectful.
What an entitled, rude commenter!! Thank you for all you do for us... for FREE! There was nothing halfarsed at all about this class. You are too kind to take out time answer someone who brought having a baby into the equation. Ridiculous. Again thank you for all you do! I especially loved the rolling side lunges. Keep up the amazing work!
I don’t agree with you, Megan. And It always makes me wonder why people so easily use faceless comment boxes as an outlet for their ignorant statements. Maris - I appreciate your videos and I use them every morning, first thing. Thanks!
Hi Fifi! Thanks for your comment. I did think twice about responding and ended up doing it anyway. She expressed her opinion and I expressed mine. Thanks for practicing with me :)
