I have heard this video so many times I know it by heart . Today at my first MRI I closed my eyes and said in my head ...welcome to yoga nidra find a quiet place switch off the phone and make sure you won't be disturbed for the next 20 minutes or so . MRI was a cake walk ( I used to be Claustrophobic) not anymore I overcame . Thank you Liz.

The first time I went to a yoga class, and practiced yoga Nidra was life changing. I was at the time 21, hyperactive, divorced, stressed , with a 3 year old daughter, my ex in a mental institution. I kept going back purely for yoga Nidra. 10 years later, my teacher eventually asked me to take my yoga teachers training & take over her class. I still love yoga Nidra & was thrilled to hear Andrew Huberman reccomend the practice. This is one of the best. Thank you 🙏🏻

I agree with you, I came to know about NSDR from Dr. Hibernian. I no longer need red bull to manage my highly demanding job and my son who is going through mental health difficulties at present.

I am lucky enough to get private 2 hour sessions of this practice every week. When you combine this with acupuncture, massage, uninterrupted 10 hours sleep, yoga, clean eating, exercise, and lots of therapy it works the best!

Hello all nice souls out there... Please do this heavenly process without any sense of involvement.....almost like ur listening to music....don't do it like a chore.... Best time to do it is early morning and one hour before going to bed.... Do listen to bamboo flute recital in the early hours of the morning for that ecstatic feeling which takes u away frm this materialistic world...

I never end up finishing this video because 5-10 minutes into the video I end up falling asleep 😭 which is actually a good thing cause I'm able to sleep better after listening to this!

Sleep is important. But this wonderful yoga meditation does so much more. It helps me become first embodied then it helps me "dissolve" body and rest in the breathe body. It is remarkably restorative provided you pay attention and not go to sleep! True yoga in terms of connecting with original source

Sara this is actually more of a relaxation than meditation, there is a subtle difference. But are very helpful and healthy for you.

Thank you Lizzy! A few months back I gave birth with this video playing in a loop in background. I used to listen to it during pregnancy and my husband remembered to play it while I was in labour. Now I have incredible memories and feelings every time that I listen to it ❤

Perfect for when you have just half hour to rest. I would recommend 5 min of child's pose after it. You will feel refreshed.

Really, you have been told 1.5K time at this point of the brilliance of this Yoga Nidra. Your voice. The creators. Brilliant. I have tried other yoga nidra. Longer and shorter. I have never done a one hour one but some close and none touch the benefits I rep from this. I go through a lineup of breathing exercises before doing this and one more meditation. Often I love to finish up my 1-1.5 hour routine with wim hof breathing. At the beginning he says, Relax to the fullest. If I really want to relax to the fullest, there is no way to relax deeper than with this. Thank you so much. I don’t make it through the daytime hours without doing this at least once and I put on headphones and fall asleep to this. I get up in the AM and within a couple hours I have made the decision to release all anxiety and this is the most important part of this. I can do other things that relieve stress and relax me but nothing compares to this. Also before I do an ice bath, you are a main stay and always will be. However many views this video had it will continue to grow exponentially!! Amazing. Thank you! ❤

Thank you lizzy hill i learnt meditatation when i was 18 years old i use to wake up about 4:30 am go out bak veranda i use to watch the snails coming back from where there been it use to take a snail 20 seconds to sliver past a blade of grass the cats use to walk past me didnt even know i was there we had a maple tree i use to watch the seeds over a few days turn into little lanterns then turn into beautiful leaves lizzy i told that tree i was going to sell my house and move on that tree looked so healthy lizzy i swear it died just be4 i moved out i cried i still do meditation i went to heaven met jesus hewas standing on a bridge white robes gold wrap aroun sash belt sandles he asked me Gary what are you doing here i told him i do yoga he didn't go crook at me but he was stern and told me not to look at his face or i wont return he told me i can look around it was so beautiful liz he made me promise not to come back then he said gary is there anything you want to ask me i said when i die will i go to heaven he said that is your decision gary i new what that meant he told me i must go and promise not to come bak hee said again dont look at his face he said i can look around again dont look at him i said good bye and came out of it i thought ive only been on veranda ten or 15 minutes i went inside my wife at the time said did i fall asleep i said no ive only been outside 10 or15 minutes she laughed said have look at time it was 3:15 am i been outside 6 and half hours what ,the next day i went to another suburb 18 miles away i parked my car went to go in shop two ladies stopped me and said can we speak to you love i said yes i thought something was wrong they said we both can see it you are glowing i swear i didnt walk 20 steps a man and lady stopped me said samething what i went into shop came out old man with walking stick stop me said samething since then lizzy i have heaps of experiences im now 75 years old went to hospital for check up dr ask how old i was i told him he said no i asked how old you are i told him he said dont be stupid i had to show him my drivers license evey one says i look in my late 40 s the young people where i use to work ask me to go to a disco a few times with them i said dont be stupid so lizzy if this is what yoga does for you but i do weights also and cardio and take about ten different vitamins every day everyone says u want be careful ive been taking them for sixty years lizzy thank you i hope i can help others if they read this but you must become in your mind child like young in other words dont grow up yet my favourite subject is physics i was dumb at school but ive done a few advanced science exams on u tube got 100 percent string theory stuff love is the secret i think i dont mean making love but i wish i mean how you communicate with others dont listen to gossip definitely do do it ok thank you bless you lizzy. Thank you. This is a miracle! Two nights ago I came back home from an overnight emergency stay at the hospital because I was having an anaphylacticc reaction and migraine with strong vertigo. They thought I had a stroke or a heart attack. None of that was it, but it was rather allergies and migraine. I was taking antihistamines, ands teroids. I was exhausted and tense. I was scared I would catch covid at the hospital. I went to bed at 9:30, woke up at 10pm. Then at 12:30 I woke up again having a horrendous nightmare that I was going to die. Once awake I had a panic attack, I had a jolt of nervous electricity jolt on my shoulders and arms. I was going crazy with racing thoughts of impending doom. I was ready to go back to emergency and ask for an anxiolytic. then I thought I had had once a positive experience doing a yoga calming exercise with some therapy group. I found you. I did the Yoga Nidra exercise. It worked!!! It was a delight to feel I have a tool that is not chemical and right at hand. I did it a second time right then and I then went to sleep and did not wake up until 7 am. Refreshed and happy. Now I am doing it at bedtime and when I wake up. Thank you so much!

I just did this. And it was great! I felt very relaxed and almost to the point of drifting off to sleep but more euphoric. As I bringing awareness to all the body parts I also imagined a bright white light coming out of every body part when you name them. So by the end my entire body was engulfed in a beautiful white light. And my body was physically pulsating. I'm definitely going to save this and use it again. 🙏❤

I didn't like the video because it focus tooo much about relaxation of the body there are other videos that focus also on imagination and future after you recognise that you re body is fully relaxed you can go to the next step. I give a dislike because is to long focusing on the body it can give a little focus to the brain to not only the body needs to relax also the brain neeeds thar

This video is fantastic. My entire body felt like jelly. I have fibromyalgia and am in pain most of the time and this made me feel pain free. I felt like I would melt into the floor into the ceiling of my kitchen below me.

I have dystonia, so total relaxation of my body is impossible. But while listening to this yoga nidra my body quiets. And while the tremors don't stop, they are much reduced. I find my day is much better if I start it by listening to this. Thank you so much. ❤️

Not 100% sure. But I think I used to listen to this to fall asleep when I was a kid. On cassette tape. Mid 90's or so. And here I am listening to it to fall asleep as an adult

Never really been a believer in meditation practice or the benefit it may provide me personally but I have followed this through three times now, twice consecutively! This is a perfect short yoga nidra for recovery. Of course it's not the same as longer ones that bring you into a meditative state for a longer time. But if you're already practiced in yoga nidra, this brings you to relaxation in a short time. I can't understand why anyone would downvote it. Trust me, it's good.

This is new to me and I am struggling with anxiety. Keeping my body still was a little challenge ( my feet and hands ) but this takes practice and I’m going to do it everyday for a little while and update later. Thank you

This is the most relaxation meditation I have ever done and I have tried so many. The music is soothing and so is your voice. I practiced first your alternate nostril breathing and then your meditation. I had just spoken to my mother who is in a home and was so confused. I am on holiday. This has made much calmer. I suffer from death anxiety. I will practice this everyday. It is very calming. Thank you so much.

Fantastic! My insomnia freaks me out, not the lack of sleep, but being unable to fall asleep at all, stresses me, like I’m broken...why can’t I sleep? I just watched a video on the Gaia channel about yoga Nidra, and found this .....this meditation is so relaxing; thank you so much for time and care for others.

I have been insomnic for last 2 months but the moment I do yoga nidra , I easily get sleep by the end of the video. I am getting nice sleep for about 4 to 5 hours and I wholeheartedly thank the creator. I still have other problems but taking one thing at a time.

Every yoga class I ever had ended with this. I didn't know it had a name. I always recommend this technique, now I know what to call it so ppl can find these kinds of videos.

Of all your videos this is the best because the music is subtle unobtrusive and in the background, and your voice is in the foreground. Wish you could do an extended version with THIS music at this volume. Love your voice for yoga nidra.

AMAZING!! I love yoga but had never heard of yoga Nidra!! Heavenly. My pelvic floor was in horrible pain. It is gone now! This practice will become a part of my everyday life. Namaste 🙏🙏💓💓

I like this very much, just the right length and clearly spoken and explained. I have been listening to it after I wake up recently, as I find mornings are most stressful for me... at age 75 I am still having issues. Thankfully there are these guided meditations to listen to. A big help. Thank you
