Loss of subcooler seal is when your drop leg temp gets lower than your condenser temp. It basically is calculating that there is flash gas instead of a full liquid seal. Also on your drive heat exchanger, pull both heads when brushing it. One side may look ok, but when you pull the other, it will look like shit. It’s more work, but in the end its better.
Cool video. Glad to see they raised the liquid level....60% seems a tad high, but i get it. During start up, it seems like they always set it to 35%-37%. We do the maintenance and repairs on our customers YK's. Did they clean the heat exchanger for the VSD coolant. That can get pretty nasty over time. A lot of people wait till they get high temp alarms before doing it though. Enjoyed the video...thanks for sharing
Yeah, it ran better at 42% but JCI tech settled on 50% , they backwashed the exchanger, I did see some high motor baseplate alarms in the history after they left… probably from air. The old coolant was dark . Thanks Jason! 👊
