Years ago the president or CEO of a company started at the bottom and worked their way through the ranks. They know how the company works. Now a company will bring in a smart lawyer or a person who had a high position at another company. They know nothing how the company works. These companies offer ridiculous salary packages to these people. Now a president or CEO can drive a company into the ground and get bonuses for that. If they get fired, they walk away laughing all the way to the bank with their "Golden Parachute" worth millions. There should be laws against this happening. It's the same thing with the politicians. They are hard to get out of office and have so much power. They pass ridiculous laws that benefit the rich. Money talks! They get paid off by the big companies and in the end, it is the little guy who loses. Thank you for the video Rudy.

performance is measured in short term numbers, modern ceo seem incompetent, and they probably are, but they work for short term profit, because they get telled and paid for. the real problem is money at itself, only caring for money is modern business, products, customers, future and doing good got rationalized und deleted for profit. no business gets working by caring for profit, every company started with caring for their product and customers, and every company will fail while caring for profit. blackrock just harvests already dead companies and salvage what is left to collect before it finally dies.

So instead what they do is they give them a nice care package to leave. Then they vacation for a bit and use their contacts to get another nice cushy job to repeat the same method as before.
