Thank you so much for sharing this. I’m 17, going into my freshman year at college and I’ve never dated, had a boyfriend, or anything of the sort. I feel pressured because all of my friends are dating, some getting married.. and girl that fear creeps in!! I need to put my trust in God’s plan for me. He is #1 always. I’m joyful in this moment because I have Jesus in my heart. I know God will bring the right guy into my life at the right time and I don’t need to obsess or stress about it ❤️

I'm not single but even when you're in a relationship its important to remember that that person doesn't fulfill you!! Only Jesus can! Needed that reminder. Reading all the comments and it's amazing to see how God works. This reminds me of a story that my dad told me when I was hopelessly single and longing for a relationship... My (step) grandpa was single his whole life pretty much, dedicated to ministry work, but he wanted a wife so so so badly. He would start a relationship but find it didn't work out and he was left hopeless again, and the cycle continued. He did ministry, but for a while was a means to the end of finding a woman. My grandpa told my dad (when telling him this same story), that it wasn't until he fully surrendered himself to God and said "If it's God's will that I stay single and be dedicated full time to ministry, then that is God's will" that God brought my dad's mom into his life. Oftentimes, God wants to give you these good and precious gifts, but is waiting for you to surrender it to Him, to give your heart to Him first and foremost, above and before everything else. That doesn't mean God is counting your heart or that you are owed anything from God. But His plan is always perfect and He loves you!

But I know of some people who did all of those things and still never found a spouse! Sometimes his will is for perpetual singleness!

Thank you!!!!!! I’m only a teen but I needed the reminder that Jesus IS ENOUGH FOR ME!!!! I sometimes believe the lie that if I mess up or sin, God is mad at me or something bad will happen. I don't even know if I meant to be single for the rest of my life. I'm 35 years old never married never had kids. I enjoy life If I am meant to find a spouse that would be great. If not I will enjoy my electronics I always dreamed of owning as a teenager money in the Bank Bill's paid off enjoy my hobbies praise God I'm blessed 😇

I was dumped after 10 years back in February. I'm slowly getting back on my feet. I do feel scared every day that I will be on my own forever. But hopefully I will be OK

@@AmberDennis001 when you experience sex with the "special"guy you will realise that this moment don't last forever and that this moment is so holy and you give it at that some guy who doesn't respect you enough to marry you and doesn't love you as Jesus died for you at cross. He died for us Sister of Christ He died. No man on this earth has done that.

You may not need a relationship to be happy, but it sure wouldn't hurt! I recognize that we need to learn to be content in the Lord Jesus, but human feelings are so strong it's difficult to not struggle with them!

Recently got out of an amazing Christ centered relationship and it’s soo hard for me 😭😭he ended things because he wasn’t physically attracted to me anymore. I literally fast and pray constantly and the pain won’t go away. 😭

Sister don't worry it will go away pain goes away but know that Jesus NEVER goes away. HE STAYS HE REALLY DOES AND ONLY IF YOU WANT THAT HE STAYS HE STAYS. Ive been there and when you realise that a man will easily let go than let him. He doesn't deserve any minute with you.

please pray for me. i’m starting to feel hopeless about my faith, my walk with God, my loneliness, whether im even capable of having a godly marriage, a lot of things really. i know that all of this is being placed in my mind by the deceiver so i will not give into those lies but it’s been so hard lately and i feel horrible and only God can help me. god bless u guys

This video has come in such a perfect timing...for the past one week I have been praying on what to do about my relationship. I've kept going back to my boyfriend even after he as repeatedly hurt me and doesnt seem to make any effort in our relationship only because I'm afraid of being alone. Thankfully God has given me the strength to acknowledge that he has something better planned for me in the future and all I have to do is trust in him .

Hello, This has already been said many times. But I really do think God used your video. I know that I should be content. And yet I still try to plan what guy is going to be best, even though I say to myself I know God's plan is perfect even if I'm single. This video made me realize I am trying to be content in hopes that the sooner I become content, the sooner I can get married. (As opposed to being content in God because he is enough for me.) After realizing this, I prayed that God would give me peace, contentedness, and full commitment to him. Not for my own gain, but for his glory. I desire God's will to be done so dearly. "For I am confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus." Philippians 1:6 May the Lord God bless you. I agree with everything you said. Jesus IS the way, the truth, and the life.

I’m struggling with this. I just turned 27 and still single. Thank you for this video. I am struggling with lust and tempted to give it away to a random guy but at the same time don’t plan too. Thank you so much for this wonderful reminder! Last year around October, the lonliness and the fear that I was never going to find someone was at an all-time high and I still remember the pain I felt so vividly. I've been single all my life and even now have never had a boyfriend. So many of your videos were super helpful to me in that time and praise Jesus that I'm now at a point where I'm content with the Lord being enough. I say this to myself so often that if I'm meant to be married, God will work it out and if not, that's totally okay because God knows what's best. Thank you so much for your videos, Stas!

If you don't have the gift of singleness you won't be happy without a relationship at some point. You can surrender your desire for a relationship for a season, but ultimately if you never develop that relationship you'll never be happy in the truest sense!

6.50 That’s why I don’t pray for my future husband. There is no guarantee that I will be married. I would rather just pray to be close to Christ. I’ll pray for my future husband when I start dating someone. I wanted to be married by 25. About to be 26, just went through my first and only break up and feeling sad.

The obvious question would be, since you recently got married, why not choose a life of singleness if all you need is Jesus?? If it's a good for me but not for thee type of thing then it absolutely makes no sense in dispensing advice exhorting others to be single when you haven't exactly chosen that for yourself. You said that you didn't want to be alone, well that's most everyone else hun. Jesus is not the one and only thing that you need to live a balanced, integrated and whole life that includes, work, play, achievement, friends, and yes......a lover or partner because ALL these things add immeaurably to one's over-all existence. You are young but when you mature more you will see that to be true, to not unnecessarily shortchange yourself in all the things that define what a good life in terms of health, wholeness, and well-being can bring.
