Before watching, I gotta say Liverpool 13/14 has to to be it, such a DANGEROUS attack with Sturbridge, Suarez, and Coutinho, and even Gerard as a box to box
For a man with 2 prem titles, 2 fa cups and a Champions League & Europa League runner up medal, Kolo Toure has been done dirty in this video. The man was so dedicated to winning he two-footed Arsene Wenger in his Arsenal trial, put some respect on the mans name ✊
@@pat0583 Arsenal, Man United, Tottenham are probably barreling straight into the Europa League And btw Sheffield United are statistically the best 'United' in the prem right now
@@arandomguyontheinternet3500 I'm not saying that's impossible. The fact that Tottenham are in a 5th and 1 point behind top 4 shows that Sheffield isn't definitely in the Champions League. Also, Wolves, Man U and maybe Arsenal are all giving the higher sides some pressure.
Every club gets to do it, it says it in the name. “EMERGENCY” signing, they can only sign players who are free agents next season. Leganes doesnt get to because they dont need another player in their main squad, and can negotiate with the player to stay. Its up to the player if he decides to leave, so its not an emergency.
@@bryanrocha7508 This "EMERGENCY" heavily favors big club. The club can only sign a player within their own domestic league. Therefore it is easy for a Barcelona, Real Madrid or an Atletico to sign a lower table team player with the allure of higher wages and potential bonuses. Leganes can't compete with crazy salary offers and once their player leaves, I don't see them going and bidding on Alvaro Morata anytime soon. Maybe a salary cap or no signing bonuses need to be implemented for these types of signings.
Palace also had Glenn Murray in 14/15. Our most unbalanced squad was 17/18, we literally had ONE striker, Benteke, who was not only shit, but also spent the first few months injured. We played Townsend and Zaha up front for half the season. Signed Sorloth in January, but he only started 4 games.
I still don't get what happened with Benteke. Reliable scorer for Villa, still got 10 goals in a season for Liverpool even if he was nowhere near what Klopp needed as a striker, and 17 the next year with Palace. Then in 17/18 he suddenly forgets how to kick a ball properly. How?
He's dual nationality Brazilian and English an Brazil loaned him in for the 2006 wc, he scored 9 goals that tournament picking up top scorer and the golden ball
I think this current Arsenal team is also quite unbalanced when you look at both Aubameyang and Lacazette both strikers with Aubameyang being shifted out wide.
Toure was a decent option to have on the bench for a game or two but at that stage of his career he wasn't up to being a full time player. Lovren+Skrtel=%^&*show as apparently they couldn't communicate about anything and all Sakho was good for is playing the opposition on-side (for example, watch the Dortmund second leg where he played the scorer on not once, not twice, but on all three goals...)
not going to lie but whenever Chamack went into an attack role at Palace he didnt look good but every time he dropped into midfield he looked amazing, one game he played as a CDM and controlled the game, and was brilliant
I only disliked this video when he mentioned Demba Ba's Anfield goal. Does anyone else here think poor Steven Gerrard deserved that Premier League, ESPECIALLY after the tears and the "WE GO AGIN" huddle after that frantic 3-2 encounter with Man City in 2014 at Anfield?
The Man City one was very harsh, lescott in his prime was a very good defender who once score 11 premier league goals in a season, Kolo Toure was good aswell
To say Bent wasn't any good at Villa is a bit harsh. 21 goals in 45 league games and 3 in 4 in the FA Cup. I think we've all MASSIVELY underrated this guy's time at Villa.
Actually he got 25 in 72. He got 19 in 41 in his first 18 months (very respectable), but then scored 6 in 31 across the rest of his time at Villa. Also had a loan stint with Fulham in the Prem in that time where he scored 6 in 30. Very good at first but fell off a tall cliff after 18 months
liverpool should have been 13/14. the best player in the league that season and arguably also the second best striker in the league that season. the same great midfield you mentioned (excluding Lallana and Can) but Gerrard was still performing at an amazing level but the defence was the same
I think wining 2 fa cup premier league and having over 500 caps in Club carrier and over 100 caps for country and playing for the invincible doesn't make you a decent defender
The first one has got to be a fucking joke. Toure literally was the best defender at Arsenal the previous season when they set the clean sheet record (10 games in a row without conceding) in the Champions League and Gallas had just played every knockout stage match for France in the 2006 World Cup on the way to the final where they conceded no goals from open play against Spain, Brazil, Portugal and Italy. He was still clearly a decent player. The centre backs were still good enough.
