I'm only vaguely like this when I ask my friends if they want to try a restaurant I went to in the next town over. What's the deal with that you ask? Well, one of 'em always says "we should carpool, it'll save gas"...so they start walking out to my car. Then when I drive them all to this restaurant, I might suggest one thing that might be pretty good, but they both end up ordering a salad or a burger with nothing on it (gourmet burger place/the price is the same for the burger without anything as most of the others, they just request that). I don't say anything, but then they'll see my food, and say "man, that looks good. maybe next time". So next time, I might say, "hey, I was thinking of going to that restaurant again" "oh yeah" "I'll probably getting something different this time, what about y'all?" "yeah, I'll probably get the same thing. We carpooling?" sorry, I know I'm petty, but I wanted to vent that pettiness in context lol
