Seriously wow glad I could help you out buddy I just went a got a small bottle and put it on all my hardware now as you know it sucks to loose something on the River totally ruins a day
Drainplug - The Cross and the Five both have the bottle cap drain plug. The other boats have the older style plugs. At this point, float bags are not included...
I was kinda sceptical of this boat, but it looks like it will fit my paddling style perfect with that stern edge. Exited to see what you think of it on the water
Yeah I thought that was the reason it was older model I know it’s been around for a few years just ZET has been getting some good traction here in the USA lately
@@WadeHarrison for sure we have a dealer in bc canada so we have lots on the water. i paddled a director for 3 seasons. good in some areas not in others but great plastic for sure!
I purchased a ZET Five late last year, it did not come with float bags. It did come outfitted with the bulkhead foam already attached, all I had to do was throw in my float bags, adjust the bulkhead and I was paddling.
@@lordofnothing. You might be right about that, they surely made this boat with racing in mind especially because at the time it came out it was a real focus of the industry (with the 9r and Sickline etc). Can't give a true opinion on the Toro though, haven't paddled it much. But I think the two boats are far enough apart in time for the Cross to be just a better version of the Toro.
Hi guys, just so you know. The Zet design timeline goes Velo, Raptor, Director, Torro, Five, Cross then last but not least Chilli. The boats are very popular in mainland Europe and have an excellent reputation for durability and warranty. It'll be interesting to see how they get on in the States. Happy paddling.
The toro is a bathtub. You would be hard pressed to find more stability. If you are 185lbs+ or doing self-support(>215 loaded), the cross is faster, narrowed, and longer with a ridiculous auto boof. The five is the same boat with a lower volume for paddlers around 150lbs. It's probably closest to the 9r but a completely different hull experience. Pyrahna is edgy, snappy, front seat driven. Zet is greasier. They went semi-displacement where the crisper plaining is only behind your hips and everything else is round and smooth. We all basically just need one of every boat for any given paddle 🤣🤣🤣
@@WadeHarrison I dont have any intentions of buying a Chili because I already own a Rewind and an Axiom but your reviews are always really insightful and entertaining. I'll drop them a message 😉
