In this video, i teardown this ZF5HP24A Transmission out of a 2000 Audi that slipped on pull away, found the usual clutch A drum blown due to a worn pressure regulator valve bore.
We're having trouble getting genuine ZF parts for the 5HPs now in the UK, and the cars are worth so little that they get junked for a bad trans these days :( I have a pallet full of broken examples to rebuild but I'm going to have to use aftermarket stuff from Poland for them. Will you be showing the rebuild of this one? I really enjoyed watching the 722 go back together.
Well, the problem here is, the car ties up the lift, very hard for me to do a rebuild video, my shop is either busy or real busy. When i have time with a stock unit or i can push the car out is when i do rebuild videos. Thanks for watching
