It took me a bit of research, but I think he uses the SmallRig 2121 Plate to mount the Crane 3S on the Ronin/Movi SmallRig Ring!

You just do it through the ZY Play app on a phone, it's super simple.

I’m wondering the same thing. I’d rather have the one with mounting points myself. If the Ronin ring is compatible I’ll buy that one.

@@patrickwilliam8060 - I need to know if the camera mount is the same and whether a separate (Smallrig), piece is required to fit on the base of the gimbal grip, otherwise it won't fit....? The 'ring' costs a small fortune @ £185 ($247), and then the two legs (which you would think would come with the 'ring'), are extra @ £ 86 ($115)

nalarepooc1 are you serious, I didn’t realize the feet were extra. I’m debating between this ring and the upcoming manfrotto gimboom. In the meantime. I sent an email to the company asking if you could fly a crane 3s on the smallrig model 2858. I’ll follow up with that question and ask what accessory you’d need to make that possible if it does work. I’ll let you know what they say. How is the 3s working for you? What sort of rig are you using. I use it for my bmpcc 6k and irix vine lenses. Initially I was using the extension arm but took it off. I found my footage is extremely smooth now.

@@leodorian - thank you Sir - yes it looks like you are right, however, after typing in the number 2121 and clicking on Amazon UK - doesn't show it. Also this 2068 rig is cheaper on Ebay in the UK, at £146 (Amazon UK - £200..!) I will 3D print the feet as they are far too expensive for what they are, and they should have come complete with the Rig itself (like buying a car, where the steering wheel is extra!) I will sort the Smallrig 2121 plate from another source. I don't know why Smallrig market the Zhiyun (plain), version of this handheld rig, with out the multi-threaded corner pieces - when the 'Ronin' version is far better..? STOP PRESS - I have just seen this model for the Zhiyun - SmallRig 2154 Handheld Ring for Zhiyun Crane 2/ Crane V2 / Crane Plus Gimbal at £234 (with the support feet and the plate 2121 included), so have decided to buy the 2068 version on Ebay UK and purchased the Smallrig 2121

SmallRig Handheld Ring I have it but you have different side handles then me with mounting points how do I get that ???
