Hopefully it boots up much faster than the previous version. Also, I wish they updated this with separate line and headphone outputs, instead of a single jack for both.

Well i was about to buy a separete mc for vcals amd micing amps,but after watching this i think i will get this instead,has built in syudio grade fx perfect for vocals or other instruments,audio interface as well and can record up to four tracks simultaneously.Thats great!

I really love this recorder, and use everyday in a studio setting. Coming from a PCM-M10 to this, it's a huge improvement in every area. It does carry over the slow load time of the H4N, and I almost missed an interview on the trade show floor today waiting for it to boot. Any chance on a bios update to fix, please? I totally love it otherwise!!!

I just jumped right past the H4N Pro and 5 to the 6. The HN4 had worked well for me. Other than the menu being really slow.

I want to use a hypercardioid lav mic with this recorder which works with 9 to 52 volt dc power supply with a balanced output phone jack,how can I use the lav mic with this recorder? It's line input is only 2.5 volt.

Hi it's hamit again. So this can't be used with an IPad like the H5 can then? And if it can are they strictly IPad OS only? Or can you hook them to an IPhone as well?

Hello Hamit, The H4n Pro would only be compatible with a computer via USB. It would not connect to any IOS devices.

Hey, the effects are available in MTR mode. If you see some MENU options not listed, your device may be in Stamina mode. Remove the battery cover and turn the Stamina switch Off and power off/on your device.

MySky | Morshnev Nikolay If you are connecting both your microphone and a DJ console, then you will want to use both inputs 1&2. If you need a stereo feed from the console, then you may want to connect to the EXT MIC input on the back of the H4n Pro!
