Zwift Click First Impressions and Installation 

I’ve had Zwift Play for a few months now, and love them. You’re right, the shifting is super smooth. I just ordered a Click as well. It’s going on the TT bars I just put on my bike. Ride on bruh!

Click is fantastic. Been using it for a couple of months now. My reaction was similar to yours, I just couldn’t believe how super smooth and fast the changes are.

Good thing the Install went Smooth… We would hate to have seen you Rage Quit during the install 🤔😂👍🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️

Watching this vid makes me want a click and I've already got virtual gears.

I’ve had my hands on a Click the past couple of weeks, and it really is pretty cool. It’s been great in races too - so many “gears” available to find the one with your ideal cadence, no more need to let off the power to shift, and especially no more awkward changes between the front rings since I run my trainer difficulty at around 80%. Awesome stuff, especially for only 40 USD. And you might have already done this, but there’s a firmware update to do for the Click through the Companion app once it’s out of the box.

Game changer! I’m rolling the KICKR bike. It is awesome with similar sensations.

Erik the Click Smuggler 🤣 I've only ever used the Click and virtual gearing as I go the Hub One and thought like you, lets make a single speed Zwift bike. Thought better of it as how do you get the chain on/off to do maintenance? It's also great for you RU-vidrs so your viewers get to see what gear you are using now 👍 Tried mine in a few spots on the handlebars, but ended up with it on my right side lever same place you put yours. Up is up as I tried it the other way and kept forgetting that I had inverted it 😁 Good luck with your first race using it 👍

I'm a big fan of v shifting, been using it since they started. For me the sweet spot is 12-17 but I'm not overly picky with my cadence. There is plenty of races where I'll do the entire race in a single gear and power through little climbs.

Pretty sure it is very similar to the wahoo kickr bike. 🤔 Makes shifting super smooth. You are still welcome to try it if you like.

Think of getting the play controller of this one and the Jetblack Tray like you have.

My Hub One does the same thing where the resistance tightens up about a minute or two into a ride. I think it just gets warmed or something.

My Wattbike has virtual shifting. Gives you 3 gearing options for climbing, endurance or racing. Don’t think they ship to the USA or Canada though.

I run a M2 Pro Mac Mini as a dedicated Zwift computer. What Mac are you running? And what do you think of the performance?

Vshift is like disc brakes or Di2. Once you've tried it, there's no going back.

I've had virtual shifting on my SB20 for years. Hasn't helped me get any better, Of course, getting better might take more than just shifting. 😉

Silly question but if you have gear shifters on your bike, why use these?

That's what you said about that other controller and it delay shifts....We will see.
