I played through every dmc game (except 2) before playing 5 and I got to say I think that’s definitely the way to play this series because as I moved onto each game there was a new mechanic with Dante so as I played through each game I was learning newer and newer stuff each time I played dmc 3 definitely taught me the most with the introduction of the style system I played with gunslinger because I found it the most fun plus most useful then I got to dmc 4 and now I could use all the styles and I popped off in dmc 4 then when I got to dmc 5 I felt like I was in my prime while playing as Dante it’s such a surreal experience playing through the series the way I did
As someone who's recently got into DMC, the thing that humbles you the most is when you land a "good" combo and you feel good about yourself, thinking you improved, then do the deadly mistake of looking up a combo guide (This is even more prominent on Dante). Thats it, all your happiness goes away, u just saw someone with probably 3000 hours do a combo with moves you didn't even know existed.
Yakuza 0 is the only Yakuza game I have yet to complete the Climax Battles. They are just too frustrating in this game like the other games maybe have like up to 4 hard annoying challenges but this game has too many bullshit ones like Proving Grounds 6-10 is insane honestly.....
I'll never forget the first time I played this after budokai 1 in tournament. I surrounded my opponent at the edge of the ring and was just about to knock them out then I learned this was different real quick.

Thats basically the first big boss fight in chapter 3. Evade and kick, evade and kick, evade and kick. But when you play the game on hard, it does not realy break the combat, it just gives you a well needed advantage
Using Honda, when he jumps at you use the overhand chop to bring him down. Another good anti jump maneuver, but one that requires precise timing, is to do the headbutt with the weak punch button. When the opponent gets too close to you, youve got to either throw him or bearhug him. It does a lot of damage and it's got a huge range.
I can beat it with Ryu quite easily. It becomes significantly more difficult using other characters for me. I think deejay, ryu, and chun li are the hardest AI's imo
I remember unlocking Z3 when I was a kid and giving up. The fact I got that far when I was 10 is crazy. Anyway fire vid bruv when is the budokai 2 episode coming out though? That one is lowkey underrated I could see you doing work in 2.
