This video was helpful. I just bought buttons for the lights. I had no idea why they weren’t working when I installed. I didn’t know that little clicky thing had to go in the hole. When I bought the car (used) years ago, my lights never had buttons. So last week I decided to order some.
I hope you don't call yourself a mechanic. And tell me you don't have a 12 mm deep well socket that you can use instead of twisting the shifter knob? When you pried off the black button of piece flew off. You cannot get those buttons at the dealership on Amazon or eBay I had to go to the junkyard and with my Dremel toll saw below the knob then I could take the piece but you broke it so you can't use it you just popped it on and made it look like you could use it. Is this how you work on all cars? Half ass?
Another comment - be aware that when you remove the control assembly and the circuit board, you will probably find that the turn signals do not operate. So don't plan for a long downtime.
Well I already had a replacement to install after pulling it out but I realized that the window controls on the new one don't work either, so I seem to have an issue with either the internal door wiring or the ECU itself
Bro take the belt off then the alternator then put the alternator back on then the belt done ...... u fight that belt tryna put the bolts in is hilarious 😂
This was perfect. my model is a 2006, and the motor was more to the side of the vehicle than this one, but it all worked out, except the fact that I don't seem to have the strength to push it all the way in. My grandmother is sweet, saying that it's because the bumper is in the way, which it is being the model it is, but still LOL We're gonna have to take it to a mechanic still for that part, but like I said, this was fantastic! Thank you!!!
He is obviously in a junkyard pulling a part, that's why he didnt put the latch back together. I can't seem to get my new part back on without removing the glovebox liner.
