I rather believe in higher power and am thankful for making me go through all this. It made me rethink and reevaluate everything that I was, all my beliefs, attitudes, perceptions, priorities, approaches to things, people in my life and relationships with them. Through all this I have become completely different and a much better person. I think this was the ultimate goal, which makes me believe in higher power, or God, even more. I know that we are 100% responsible for our lives, but now appreciate and trust the guidance of what's larger than us.

Have you ever talked about the importance of bone density tests for people on medication like Zometa or aromatase inhibitors that affects the bone and make it thinner!? If you did please share the link in a reply to me; and if you didn’t can you please consider making a video about that. Recent studies also proved that 2 years of Zometa gives the same effect of three years Zometa; and that there’s no need to take Zometa for more that 2 years for early stage breast cancer and that it doesn’t improve survival. Could you please share your thoughts about this as well…Thanks for your all amazing work ❤

You are a wonderful woman, and I appreciate this video. I started to feel disconnected from my faith before I was diagnosed. Although, I am thankful for others who pray for me and support me as best as they can. I’ve decided to not force rekindling my faith. It will happen when it happens.

My faith in God gives me hope. I don’t know how people make it through rough times if they don’t have a relationship with Jesus. I am a 2-time cancer survivor and I’m waiting on test results to determine if I have a third cancer. I’m able to endure this waiting because I know God is with me; He never leaves me. The key to peace is full surrender to the Lord. I try to keep my focus on Jesus, not my circumstances. Thank you for this video.

Finished my 3rd round of chemo last week and my last round in a couple weeks. Then I start another regimen for 14 rounds. My wbc was around 700 right after chemo. It comes back up. My main side effects are being breathless and dehydrating. I ended up in the ER this last time because of it. I’ve lost 40 pounds and part of it is because I can’t taste much anymore. I had neuropathy for years so no problem with that or bone pain. I had cyberknife radiation and it was so easy on me. No side effects whatsoever.

Many, many people & their families sincerely ask for prayers while going through this trying time in life. A well attended church, mosque or synagogues in your community. Can put you directly in contact with people, resources and events key to helping you as you go through cancer treatments and beyond. Just to know that there are others praying for your healing can mean everything. Lately. I've been collecting and writting down some beautiful prayers I been coming across. Maybe create a place on line where people can share these prayers.? A good idea I think ❤❤❤ 🌹🌹🌹🙏🙏🙏

I hand stage 2b pancoast tumor and received Cisplatin/Etopside for 7 days then a 21 day break followed by 7 days of chemo with radiation the whole time. I was given Prochlorperazine and Ondansetron that worked well but found a tincture of medical Marijuana worked for so many of the side effects without side effects. Constipation and temp regulation was my biggest issues along with extreme exhaustion but I was on Adderall until my insurance denied me this medication but luckily I was done with my therapy. I’m now a year and 3 months cancer free. I do have neuropathy but mild, fatigue, brain fog, numbness and pain but I believe a lot was due to the surgery that was 13 hours long. Depression was pretty bad with good and bad days mostly due to the financial worry and being alone but try to stay positive as much as possible. It doesn’t help that my old job is hounding me about when I’m coming back and that ssdi is constantly asking for more prove of my disability so while trying to heal dealing with paperwork is the last thing I want to do. I also have another really strange side effect but the doctors can’t give me any answers, I only sweat on the right side of my body yet my right hand and arm get ice cold and clammy with no sweating whatsoever on my left side where I had the surgery and I also had a stroke after surgery that was missed. It’s definitely been a challenge but I’m going to keep going as I’m only 55.

Thank you, Dr. Griggs, for expanding on my oncologist's explanation. I have recurrence of breast cancer on chest wall where I had a mastectomy, with metastases on several vertebrae. I've been on Letrozole and Ibrance for three months. The original recurring tumor has shrunk and I am tolerating the drugs well. Looking forward to understanding more as I continue to lead a productive, active life.

The DR told my relative that they would have a lil pain after radiation treatment was done. My relative said they’ve never felt this much pain in there life and they didn’t say it would last this long it’s been over a week and the pain is getting worse already on a scale on 1-10 at a 10 and fatigue not eating breaking out peeled skin areas of pain not recently there. The constant pain is draining. The Dr. Never said her pain would be Severe. Get this the Dr. also said Don’t go to the emergency room. Since when if you feel it’s an emergency. Are you specifically told prior to the pain not to go to the ER? If you are fine after Chemotherapy then leave at that don’t torture yourself with radiation treatment it’s seriously painful during. Then afterwards your body experiences pain that it has never ever felt. Oh and don’t forget your told not to go to the ER. Is this MALPRACTICE?

Hello, and ty for this helpful video. I had deep genomic testing by Nebula that indicates triple negative gene mutation. I'm adopted with no known medical history. I've mentioned this to 2 doctors; one said Nebula isn't FDA approved and dismissed the question. The other didn't elect to review the results. If no one else is concerned, i probably shouldn't be. Any advice you can offer would be appreciated.

One question related to the one below: I have HER2 and HR positive cancer. Now getting Kadcyla. The oncologist said that Kadcyla is a monotherapy and nothing more required. But what about the HR positive cancer cells? Had Exemestan before and now a few shots of Fulvestrant which I hated. So painful! Thank you! Beate from Germany

@@mukundprasad4618 Hi there, yes, I am living in Germany. Today, treatment depends from the histology of a cancer, HER2 or not, hormone positive or not, etc. They look for specific receptors in order to adapt therapy for each patient. So, it is very well possible that your mom gets a very special treatment for her. Best wishes for her! ♥

@@mukundprasad4618 In Germany, most people have a health insurance. So, you don't have to pay very much for cancer treatment. Which is good as the meds are very expensive. For example, one infusion of Kadcyla is more than 3000 Euro. The standards are quite high - at least at university hospitals. Small hospitals are not recommended.

In delhi india there are government hospitals which provide treatment free of cost. We need to spend only on the diagnosed test from outside of the hospital.
