My grandfather was a guard in that camp ..he was in the 3rd POW Guard Coy. Killed whilst on duty 14/081943. Many of the guards were returned servicemen from WW 1.

00:57 That is a Gang Shed. Built right next to the rail track at ground level. Track maintenence crew stored their tools and motor trolley there (like the 8W type in my avatar). Shed would have had 2 outward opening wooden doors. Trolley was rolled out of the shed. If enough crew - manhandle the trolley onto the rails. If not, a portable turntable to turn the trolley 90 degrees and roll onto the track. And ride to the part of the track to be worked on: sleeper, fishplate joiner etc. replacement.
