Growing up I wanted to be a Mythbuster, and since that show doesn’t exist anymore, I’ve decided to create a job where I get to do all of my favorite things from that show and more. That job is my RU-vid channel. I look forward to making these videos full time, but for now, I continue to work my day job at Boeing running industrial 3D printers. If you would like to follow my journey closer and support this endeavor of mine, you can support me on Patreon.
@@gianteggthiefakadarealgiga2814 “you remember that scene in Beauty and the Beast where all the plates and silverware dance to the catchy song sung by the candlestick? I wonder what that would look like in real life?”
“Have you ever wondered how the 2319 scene would be done in real life?” -literally the first line of the video. if you need a refresher on english modal verbs there are a few courses you can take online
There where actually several documented occasions on which people fell from skyscrapers and landed on cars and then survived they all fell feet first and due to human joints being much more rigid that the dummy joints the Legs where able to absorb much of the fall.
How did you pick the fall height? You could have started from the minimum deathly concrete fall height. If you only picked the one ridiculously tall fall height, then it's not much of an experiment.
If you could get in contact with Corridor digital, and get in good with them. They have the connections u want and need! Plus they’re awesome people and could be great collab/friends
I believe the sunroof and the fact this is a somewhat modern Jetta made it less survivable. Try finding a wagon with a long metal roof, it’ll likely work better
You didn't search well at all. The video is linked in the description of this short. It is titled "Testing my Bomb Disposal Robot I bought from the Army".
It doesn't matter where you would land you'll still get severely injured or die. Even if you have survived, you'd be crippled and is burden to people around you.
How do you say I think technically falling on the car would be safer because you do have things like the roof that could serve to kind of break your fall a little bit but to be honest with you if you're falling from a high height doesn't really matter what you land on you're gone
I do wonder if the weight of the dummy contributed to this at all. I wonder if a heavier dummy would’ve made the roof crumple more and therefore slow down the impact just a bit more.
