My goal at THEE BURGER DUDE is to show vegans and non-vegans alike how easy it is to make delicious and decadent vegan meals. I used to eat a lot of meat and dairy, so this channel is aimed at people like myself before going vegan. Additionally, I totally welcome any vegans who might be missing one of their favorite fast food or comfort food meals as well, come on in! I want to show that you can still have burgers, mac n' cheese, fried chick’n and any other kind of comfort food, and that it’s possible with plant-based ingredients.
If you’re new to veganism and don’t know where to start, or if you’re totally new to cooking, or new to both, then I hope you find something on this site that piques your interest and are inspired to cook! And if you have any questions please contact me!
Listen, I get that people don’t like comparing meat alternatives to meat, but when people are acting as consumers, they need language they understand and can connect with. The sandwich ends up looking, tasting, and having a similar consistency and style to a pulled pork sandwich, so guess what? It gets called that. It’s really not a big deal.
People on the interenet are so damn phony the canned bean industry doesnt stay in business because no one buys them. Yeah home made are so much better but they work . I add a litt.e pat of butter and a splash of milk and a dash of taco seasoning when heating mine . They are darn tasty .
Snooty people have made others think that canned food is gross or sub par, when in reality it is one of the most sustainable ways to preserve food and can be very delicious. Not to mention how convenient it is! I will always sing the praises of canned food, and canned beans are no exception. Canned refried beans are delicious with a little bit of doctoring. Not everyone has hours to make fresh beans.
This looks super delicious and I am definitely going to try these Thank you Mr Burger Dude for sharing lots of tasty recipes and videos that instill confidence in the viewer so that they can make the recipes with ease 🤗🤗
I suggest trying this but with Peruvian beans, they look lighter and taste better imo. Also soaking the beans overnight in seasoned water can help the beans cook better and come out less gritty.(and saved a bit on cooking cuz the beans are fully rehydrated. It makes a HUGE difference).
