BTW this does not seem to work in 2024, no matter what generals you get. They match your troops, and replenish a lot faster, so even if you win every combat, they still end up with more troops...
I wonder if hussitism(if is even the word) still a thing in today Czechia and why their symbol is a chalice? It truly is or is Paradox doing? Great run btw Toby but managed to get Constantinople but not Rome?
As a Czech i will tell you. Even thrue Czechia Is very atheist, there Is still hussite faith, about 1,4% population. The symbol 'Kalich' is czech word for calyx. It symbolizes communion under both.
In 1.7, the starting setup is way harder. First off, the US is way more likely to intervene on the side of Brazil. Even if you're successful, chances are good that Mexico will defeat Texas, or the US will annex them as a result of the pro-annexation lobby forming. EDIT: sometimes, if Mexico isn't allied with a great power, even if they have regional allies, they will back down. In my first run where I was able to get Texas from Mexico, their only allies were some small countries in Central America, and I had no allies. Also, the US intervening in Brazil is only a risk if you mobilize too quickly. EDIT 2: Another change in 1.7 is that subjects seem to be less likely to accept offers to give them states, so it's a lot harder to cheese that system. EDIT 3: It's also harder to get out of South America to begin with. Often times, Argentina does not naturally want Bajo Paraguay, so you'll have to puppet them. EDIT 4: Even puppeting Argentina does not guarantee they'll want Bajo Paraguay. Brazil also will not want your part of Mato Grosso, unless you take their part of the state during the war.
From my understanding, it basically acts the same way the north German confederation does, but for south German States like Austria and Bavaria instead of Prussia. If you have amore specific question I'm glad to help.
@@TobyYellsAtThings I know that you used to be able to annex other German states diplomatically, as in they decided to join you nation. Is this still a feature? Because I haven't encountered it and my understanding is that know the only real way to form the sgf is to basically conquer it all. Also, thanks for the answer :)
@@MonsieurLeCoq you can annex the states of your primary culture group by solving the schleswig Holstein question and becoming the only unification candidate. After that you can form Germany by getting the other German states to like you enough.
SoL decreases both, mortality and birth rate, but the first starts much higher than the second so do decreases faster. If your population is starving your mortality will be always higher, at strugling they will be even and a little above imporverished you will reach minimum mortality but from there you start to lose birth rate without recovering that
I just got it and damn bro I'm prob just not very economy savvy but I'm just god awful at it I've watched so many videos too lmao I'm coming from ck3 and civ and old world and was mad interested in a economy paradox game but sheesh there isnt an ounce of event or flavor to at least entertain me while my rank plummets hoping it gets some sick updates to make me come back and try again
You misread it. It says homeland state. You are colonizing land outside the Uganda state. You need to look at your state boundaries which only includes the few provinces south of you
FIY: Ottomans has large part of their Army composed of Regiments from NOT accepted Cultures (Balkan = European Heritage, while Turks are Middle Eastern) So you will have hard time to enlist Ofifciers for this regiments. My advice is to disband your Balkan regiments as soon as you conquer Egypt and instead build 100 regiments in Lower Egypt (with plenty peasants ready to fill up ranks). But dont forget to issue 'Social Mobility' edict there, as Officers need to be literate to some degree. Bonus tip for defeating France every time any time: France has one little island near Madagascar, which is never defended (by troops or fleet) so you can easily naval invade them there, and just watch their warscore drop to -100 (if you take war reparations as primary war goal) 😉
A to Z is more of a filler series for when I have no ideas of videos to make. It'll probably be a series that doesn't finish for years. Right now I have good ideas for videos so I'm working on those.
I failed the suppress separatism tanzimat by annexing Tripolitania on the rationality that it would keep me from losing the land if I failed the reforms... so yeah that kinda backfired
I actually do think Guyana is worth it, because the AI doesn't value their slices of it very highly so they're often willing to give it to you, and it has both rubber and gold.
For the reason why the gun so cheap, you switch production method which allows factories produce more guns, but no one is using it. So either switch back production method to before, or deploy more infantries and cavalry to create demands
Good info, but I think you need to add that the player should not form Confederation of the Rhine, since it disallows to form Germany. Only Central Europe (HRE) is possible. I wish would know it when I played as Anhalt.
