Why did the children of the forest create the white walkers anyway, and why aren’t there more of them in game of thrones time line ?
@TheDisputedLands
@TheDisputedLands 11 часов назад
@@cheifburninggrass the children were persecuted by man and war broke out. Most of the children were killed. The children have long lives living hundreds of years. But not large numbers, they don't reproduce near as quickly as man. For more information about the long night and the night king, I have a recent vid with bran on the thumbnail titled "what he is becoming matters" that discusses it, and I think you will enjoy it.

Gold scrollwork could represent Elena’s blonde hair (it comes from her head like the idea to hire a faceless man did) as well as the Lannister Gold - the means by which the plans in her head became reality

Slight problem with this theory…… if hiring 1 assassin costs an equivalent of an army of sell swords how did the Lannister’s or targs get so much gold to assasinate all the mages keeping the 14 volcanos in check?

I still think it makes more sense that it was the Maesters. 1) It makes sense for any dragon-riding Houses would have rivals. But I'd need more evidence to for it to make sense for the Targayens to resort to destroying the source of their dragons and Valyrian steel, when they had (prior to Daenys' dream) been content to play the game in Valyria. 2) More consistent is that the Maester's gave the Lannisters their sword and used the gold to hire the faceless men. We know Maester's can reshape Valyrian steel (as per the links in their chains), and have less attachment to such swords, while having a ideological agenda against Dragon's (who could burn their places of learning).

George RR seems to gravitate towards this tree lore. It’s the same when it comes to his work in Elden Ring. The Urd trees have the same characteristics as the trees in this lore.

Could the poem of the Doom that Jorah and Tyrion recite have anything to do with the two people on dragon back? A woman holding what looks like an injured person. The poem speaks of two people at the site of the doom ending with “and neither of them turned”. They seem to be escaping from a recent danger. Could this be evidence that the Targaryens had a hand in the doom? Makes me think of the Bible story of Sodom and Gomorrah. Wicked cities that God destroyed. Lot and his wife were told that they would be safe leaving the city so long as they turn their backs on the place and don’t look back. Lot’s wife turn and look back and turned into a pillar of salt. What happened to the injured person. They looked upon the Doom? Just a thought… PS. Just finished video. You do mention the poem! Great video!👏🏾👏🏾

The lore is about kinslaying, and each Stark, as well as their wolves give hints to their plots. The Gray King, Grey Wind, for Rob, and he died at the Red Wedding; Summer, Garth the Greenhand for Bran; Nymeria and Arya sailing to Braavos across the sea, and then Jon, with "Ghost," and being the winter king. He is slain by his "brothers" of the Night's Watch. Bael the Bard, Rhaegar was his father and Lyanna died in the tower after giving birth to him. Jon keeps having the dream about the cypt and the kings of the north. In the Eddard chapter in Game of Thrones when Robert gives the pin of the Hand back to him, the chapter begins with tnhe dream about the Tower of Joy and how he'd rode there with six companions to confront the three kings guard. Just before that, Jaime had attacked him, and it was seven against three. Littlefinger corresponds to Howland Reed and their treachery. Renly and Stannis, i believe, are a prelude to Jon and Bran, but Rickon could play a role as well. At this point, the books have diverged so much from the show that they are almost completely different stories. It is easy to assume that Jon takes on Young Griff's plot in the show. The only other dream he has are variations of battling at the Wall, and possibly at Winterfell. Danaerys never dreams about going further north than the Trident. The dragons wont go beyond the Wall in the books like they do in the show. I think that there is far more to unpack for this theme.

No one has ever been able to correctly interpret and act on dragon dream prophecy, except once. Daenys dream saving the Targs and making them the most powerful family in the world has always seemed too convenient to me. All it was was confirmation to Aenar that his plan would work.

Great Video! Do you think there are still green weirwoods out there? Possibly on the Isle of faces? The weird weirwood at Raventree Hall could be a suspect, too. Maybe the turning of the tree didn‘t work there or was stopped.
@fpeppel
@fpeppel 6 дней назад
Moreover how would you factor in the shade of the evening trees? The coloring of the leaves is suspicious. Red, Blue and Green, the colors of the trident. Did the weirwood net get parted twice?

I will eventually get to a video discussing the tree colors in Westeros and it will be a good one. The song the Dornishman's wife is a hint.

I remember that in GOT when Danaerys lost her child and the witch told her that her child was a deformed stillborn with scales, I always thought that she was lying to scare Danaerys and somehow make her feel guilty for birthing a defective child, but the baby was actually healthy and she killed him right as he was born to deprive Khal Drogo from an heir, or that the baby was too fragile and premature due to the birth being rushed by Danaery's stress and being hit in the stomach, and the witch simply didn't move a finger to save him. The baby dragon canon is somehow even worse and more sinister

my tin foil hat theory regarding the Blood Betrayal and creation of dragons is this: GEOTD didn't have dragons at first > at one point near the end of the Empire, dragons were created by mixing wyverns and fyreworms > the BSE wanted to control those creatures > through blood magic, that weird meteor rock and human sacrifice (in the form of the Blood Betrayal of his sister AP) he managed to bind her soul into a dragon's, thus making himself psychically/spiritually/biologically connected to said dragon and able to control it > BSE's descendants would then have been all connected to that dragon(with AP's soul in it) and its own dragon offsprings. BSE's descendants and their dragons would have settled in the valyrian territory after the downfall of the GEOTD and mixed with the local sheepherders, creating the valyrian society of dragonriders (BSE's descendants) and non-dragonriders as well. Because they'd have kept the knowledge of how the dragon bonding first came to be, they might have continued that practice, maybe to expand the power and reach of the freehold, or to strenghten their bloodline (if it is to be believed that having kids with other non-dragonriders dillutes the magic in the blood). This would also explain, for example, why VALYRIAN dragons respond to valyrians only, but there are a few wild dragons in the world with no connection to them -- those dragons, more specifically their ancestors, were never historically binded to a valyrian, so they are not their kin as they like to say. I believe when GRRM leaves it vague as to who can really ride/control a dragon and whether or not it's a valyrian blood thing, it's because, in theory, anyone could bind a dragon with the right knowledge, tools and balls, but it's extremely difficult and requires heavy sacrifice. I also don't think it's as easy as blowing a horn, and we'll find that out eventually.

21:55 Nooo effing waaay, ''Summer Snow'' Funny story: few years ago on the 20th of April (4/20), a friend and I were gonna meet up and...celebrate. She calls me like ''We can go out and celebrate, but it just started snowing. It's cool though, it's just a summer snow''. Those words smacked me in the brain much like Martin - this is like the 20th time I told that story. I almost burst out laughing hearing it here.
