Thank you Jeff and Becky! Questions: We are on Royal Princess, and the app only shows two Dining Rooms, Concerto (Anytime) and Allegro (Reservable). Strangely enough, Symphony is not listed nor are there any traditional times as you showed in your video. Have you heard of some ships not being included with the new change of a Traditional Dining option? Secondly, we have a Premier package and when we try to reserve a restaurant, it wants to charge us rather than letting us use our two dining credits each. Any advice? We have a cruise booked on Royal as well. I cannot even go into the dining except through going down to Journey. We were only given the choice of Allegro and there was no way to even see the other dining rooms. Yet on my Discovery Princess cruise, which is still over 600 days away, I can get to my reservations through the "Book Dining" area. It even lets me select all the dining rooms (we have booked Juneau) but the other two say there is nothing available.
Hi, Thank you for watching and your comment. There may be a couple reasons why it isn't working. First, make sure you are using the latest version of the app. Second is that the Princess says Traditional Dining will be fleet wide after September 14 so if your cruise is before then, it may not be active. @@ACruisingGoodTime Yes we have downloaded the latest version of the app and the cruise is in November. It seems to be a "Royal" thing as several people on our Facebook group are having the same problem. They can only get into Allegro and have not been able to identify which one is Traditional. We believe it will be Symphony but nobody can access it.

Glad you have an upcoming cruise people are going crazy and it is easy. My hiccup trying to move Rudi and I keep getting error. Or it won’t go pass are you sure. Oh well try again after all crazy trying to book passes thanks for a prefect timely video

My husband and I visited Sitka back in 2019 on HAL. My mother is Russian, so it was nice to see the remaining Russian history in town. The Bishop's House upstairs tour was excellent and very informative!
I was in Sitka in 2021 with Holland America, right when cruising started back after COVID. I loved Sitka! I also went to the Raptor Center, and the bald eagles were intimidating! I got to see one relatively up close, and they are so beautiful. I also went to the Fortress of the Bears. When looking down at the brown bears in their shelter, I could see them lifting their heads and sniffing because I believe they could smell humans. Thank you for this video! Brought back some wonderful memories.
Thank you for your comment. We strive to be accurate. The state of Texas does require sales tax when a ship is in Texas waters. We know that the drink package does not work in Galveston on both Carnival and Princess cruise lines. Each of them handle the situation slightly differently. On my last sailing on RCCL from Galveston we did not get the drink package. I apologize we were not clearer regarding this subject in our video. Happy cruising.

Just a quick question. When ordering food, is there a tab or drop down menu that shows that I require gluten free items or food to be prepaired gluten free?
Hi Thanks for watching. I don’t recall a drop down menu but you can do this for the main dining room. It may have had it in the description, but I really don’t recall. Also talk to your waiter- they will take good care of you on dietary. The buffet had signs as well. This is a good suggestion and we will research it on our next cruise. Happy cruising!
Hi and thank you for your comment. We were in the Mediterranean for this cruise. We did have some storms in the Aegean Sea and had Santorini canceled. But the ship was very stable and smooth with no problems on movement. Happy Cruising.

I’ve booked this for my mom and myself for September. What’s the weather like that time of year? And this is probably the 6th video I’ve seen that gives the tip to sit on the left. Does everyone fight for the seats or is it still a well kept secret? Thanks for the video
Thank you for your comment. We have always bought ticket thru the cruise line so we board adjacent to where the ship is docked and before the train stops at the train depot in town. It has always been very easy for us to find a seat on the left. Seating has been orderly and I have not seen anyone looking frustrated in the boarding process. I have attached one of our videos which has information on Alaskan weather. It sounds like you are very prepared and already plan to dress in layers and ensure you have a rain retardant layer for your outer clothing. Mendenhall is easy with the visitors center next to the parking lot where the tour buses drop you off. The hike down to nugget falls is probably difficult for someone with difficulty walking. WiFi on our upcoming cruise is not per day. It is 174.69 for the week. Why the strange number? who knows. But with WiFi so much more than this breakdown includes it is worth it. Even if you just buy wifi, soda only and pay the tips. It becomes a minimal expense and you get the option to have a few fancy desserts and a few casual meals.

Correction. You are allowed to use your drink package in Texas waters. You will not be allowed to drink certain products. But you will be able to use your drink package

Just got off quantum on memorial day. They cancelled skagway because of dock trouble. We went to icy strait point instead. My wife and I were upset about not going on the train
Great video! I will be doing the Yukon Expedition & White Pass Scenic Railway excursion in Skagway in August. It is 8.25 hours long, and the description says "travel the Klondike Highway by motorcoach, over the White Pass Summit.....aboard the historic White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad." The description also states for the way back, board the White Pass & Yukon Railroad vintage train cars for a 27 mile journey. So I am thinking a bus on the way up and train on the way back? So sit on the right side of the train? Thanks again for your informative video!!

We are going on the White Pass Scenic Railway excursion this August. We missed Skagway on our last Alaska cruise in 2022 due to the rock slides at our berth. We are really looking forward to this adventure - fingers crossed we make it this time. Questions… Does the train go into Canada? And, if so, how far? Just to turn around? Hello, can you please elaborate on princess WiFi costs on board. It seems to be a little confusing! What if im not doing princess premier or plus… is it 24.99 per person? Or can i get 1/2 off since im elite (they’ll just deduct it from my acct)? Does anyone know how this works? Appreciate it!
Hi, Thank you for your comment. When you first join the Medallion net once onboard you will be invited to buy either a day or cruise long wifi package. The price will be automatically adjusted to your elite status so if you get half price wifi, that price will be there for you. You don't have to buy internet to use the medallion net.
