Hello and welcome to my channel where I cover mostly Dungeons & Dragons and other TTRPGs but I have covered various other subjects in the past. I hope you learn something new and if nothing else, enjoy the videos. Thank you for watching and have a wonderful day.
The military does use drum magazines..They arent in common usage but they do use them.Magpul developed one specifically for the military. Its called the Magpul D-60 it has thus far been the most successful drum mag the armed forces has used.
So the Kickstarter one is funded by fans. The crap about pre release time outside of kickstarter is just release date for some and we all know that most games a buggy as hell so it is bug testers before official release date that pay extra to pay early.
Yes but there is still many similarities and many have goal set for regular release and another higher goal set for pre-release. Not all but most that I have seen. So it comes down too, the same business practice. Its a double standard, nothing more, nothing less.
Wow, just wow. There has been numerous, quite a big bunch of creators who have years, who knows for how long, pretty much pointing fingers at companies like Ubisoft, ActiBlizzard, EA, Sony and others. The problem is that people just don't care and continue giving money which in turns empower those companies to continue. Also, the point is exactly that the TTRPG community doesn't end in the same spot as the gaming community.
Yes there has been many to point at companies like Ubisoft over the years but lets be honest here. There is way less people shaking their finger at gaming companies now than say 10-15 years ago. Its generally expected anymore tbh. Finally, in the sense of the TTRPG community, you all are focusing on Hasbro doing a pre-order bundle but say nothing about any other company doing the same. Its double standards at best, and that's all that has to be said about that.
I think it was in the book, A Distant Mirror by Barbara Tuchman, about 14th century Europe, where nobles/knights parleyed with peasants in revolt, then betrayed them and executed the peasants. The knights promised them safe passage under the Codes of Chivalry for the parley, which the peasants took to mean they were safe. Only the codes don't apply to peasants. Codes of Chivalry, even when they are actually honored, only apply to people of noble rank and such.
Problem with the Code of Chivalry, it is murky and difficult to understand in the earlier years. It wasn't even fully adopted for several decades and it wasn't until the late medieval period until it became more standardized. Also the common knowledge people have about Chivalry, is from the late medieval period.
I had a pair of rothco jungle boots. tossed them out after two weeks because the back of the boots blew out, where the sole meets the leather. The leather is too thin and tears easily on the budget boots.
RULE 1 ONLY MERGE YOUR LESSER RATED CHIPS AND ONLY DO IT LATER IN THE GAME WHEN YOU HAVE A LOT.. Also it's OK to eat a5% penalty for "auto load " "auto feed", "full auto fire" "mag capacity","reload" and "massive damage" effects
Great video! Well researched and explained. I like how you also included the Hollywood-isms for TTRPG players who might like their games to lean into the cinematic western style.
So I’m really bad with files and somehow while doing this found a way to accidentally delete all my data in sprocket, so there goes all my tanks, I probably could fix this but I have no idea how. Thanks for the tutorial though
Great Video. I’m looking to get my first drone. I want a one for recon. Here’s were I’m stuck, Let’s say SHTF and I must make it across town with nothing but a drone with live view. If I came across a gated community or apartment complex, would I be able to fly say 6ft off the ground and go house to house checking to make sure I won’t be seen or that they don’t have any dogs to alert them.
I don't really know tbh. My SHTF spot, that isn't a problem and it probably wouldn't be a problem during more SHTF situations. I say check your local laws or local law enforcement and see if they can tell you or at least point you in the right direction. Either way, I'm glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for tuning in.
I just got this gun online. waiting for it to ship to my local gun store. did tons of research of what to swap out. got and ncstar scope/red dot combo (budget sight i know) and an angled grip. i want to change the buffer system and bcg but thats a little further down the line. cant wait to try it out.
Last time we had 13 states against all the rest. This time we have 40 states on our side. Also we have all the fossil fuels. Have fun powering your cities and equipment on sunlight.
@@kevinsb70 they’d have to eat they’re fingers and toes while waiting on the yearling trees to produce anything substantial. All the mature fruit bearing trees are rural.
@@MightyBjorn Thanks for replying, and really qiuck! I have been keeping an eye on heliborne on steam, and its currently on sale. Do you know if the steam version offers both OG and EE? I saw in one of your videos something about being able to swap between the two ingame.
@@MightyBjorn thanks for verifying this. Really helps to know and makes it easier to come to a decision to invest in it. It was pretty nice you addressed the topic if difference between versions.
Make sure the maps are installed in the right folder. That being said some maps can take up to 10-20 mins to load for the first time because of generating world gen data.
The documents I seen from the Military suggest different but okay sure. Conciser that the old gas block could cycle from firing a light loaded 5.56 and the 2nd Gen gas blocks could cycle M995. The additional gas blown back into the bolt improved the cleaning of the bolt by blowing out any dirt during cycling. The improved gas block also reduces the chance of dirt plugging the gas block itself.
Apparently the G36 had a few issues but more than likely it was just time for a change. The H&K 416 is a good choice with the gas piston system based off the G36 gas piston design. The 416 has been around for twenty odd years and is a proven reliable design and is in my top five service rifle picks with the A8 a pretty good rifle. Some small incremental changes to the rifle have taken place over the years and I can't see the basic design getting much better with only a few more design changes I would recommend for the rifle. Many countries are designing new service rifles successfully at the moment so rather than a clean sheet design Germany picked another H&K design that is a proven military rifle made in their own country. Seems like the smart choice.... 😎🇦🇺👍
So my question is the barrel that the spring assembly goes in on my Springfield 1911A-1falls out locking out the safety. Is there a way to fix this or does the gun have to go back to Springfield?
@@MightyBjorn The cylinder that houses the spring that you replaced is coming off the gun jamming the safety preventing it from operating. I don't know the correct name of the part I'm describing. Steve
If a Tax Revolt happens the Gov will run out of Money quickly and noone would want their Money, then their not paying anyone. So it all breaks up. Then you use the Ganhdi tactic and sit down and dont cooperate. We can win.
quick question, since I'm taking the safety out, is there anything i have to change to put a Wilson thumb safety as well as the plunger? I don't need the Ambi safety and would like to get rid of it
I don't believe you would need to do anything additional, but you would obviously need to get the new safety lever you want. If I remember correctly, you also was swap pieces from a ambi safety and a regular safety.
At the end of the day….when did being “right wing” or “left wing” become more important than just being an American? I make the case that….It’s our differences that make us stronger as Americans. Remember 9/11? No one labeled themselves as republicans or democrats but AMERICANS. It’s always been our core beliefs that an external threat would always bring us together regardless of our differences politically. But over 200+ years of a peaceful transfer of power shows that we may have our differences but as long as we hold to our core beliefs of equality and respect regardless of our differences we will persevere. I served in the Army and I’m a current LEO. I will always uphold the oath I swore to the constitution. We’ve become far too polarized both on the left and the right. Yeah, it’s the politicians who have made us pick sides, both sides lying and labeling our fellow Americans as enemies. Yeah we have issues and yeah we have radical elements on both the left and the right. But the majority of the population in this country still believe in the rule of law. We need to stop electing politicians who try to divide us and focus on what makes us stronger together. Because the alternative is betraying all the sacrifices that our fathers and grandfathers and their great grandfathers before them fought and died for. Compromise for the love of god! We aren’t ALWAYS going to get everything we want. When both sides won’t work together for the common good then we are betraying what really makes our country the last great hope for mankind. The left isn’t always the best way NOR is the right. But meeting in the middle and working to find ways to build each other up rather than tearing it all down. Do you really think our enemies are going to sit around and not exploit our weaknesses? Most certainly they will and they absolutely did that the last two election cycles. A civil war should NEVER EVER be fought here again. Because this American experiment, while not always perfect and has its ups and downs, is a far better alternative than being crushed under a foreign occupation by the likes of China or Russia. Keep that in mind if we decide to pick up a weapon and point it at our own people. Think of ways to make us better not ways to tear us apart. We are not a perfect country, but I will defend it.
