Again, good information especially on issues of joint safety. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should go to end range of motion. Exercise for the long game!
@@AlexLyas oh no! Even just 5 min a day can make a difference. Check out this follow along routine to reduce stiffness: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7rusecq4fSg.htmlsi=lXlWDvrzvlC3UybA
@@kbfitbritt well I haven't really ever used kettlebells that much but whenever I do I usually use them for strength training and I've always known that you could use them for core but I never took the time to try 😂
@@momkeyboymo212 the great thing about kettlebells is you can work strength for your entire body (including your core) at the same time. Do you have a kettlebell?
Thank you SO much Brittany ❤ you are the reason I got into Kettlebells. A beginner but truly in love with them! I am addicted!!! And your videos and guidance are so easy to follow, and encouraging and informative. I love everything you share. So a huge thank you from a beginner kettlebell fanatic. You are a kind and generous soul, thanks for sharing your time and expertise so freely xxx
I want to strengthen my calf and hamstring. I do goblet and rack squats and long cycles. What other exercises should I do to target hamstring calf in particular?
Hi there! What weight kettlebell are you using on the Thigh Rainbow? You are likely using too heavy of a kettlebell. I recommend starting with 5-8 lbs. If your elbow is still hurting, you can simply hold the split stance isometrically with the kettlebell in the goblet position.
@@anp20237 you’re welcome. I definitely recommend starting lighter, as the rainbow movement is a bit like an upright row, which you want to start light on.
Hi there, sorry I missed the live. I love the double hand swing over single arm swing. Which would you say is more beneficial. Same with deadlift. Double or single? Thank you. Always following on tube & insta 🙌🏻
@@geraldinecoupland4162 that’s okay, thanks for watching the recap 🙏🏼 double and single hand exercises both have benefit, I wouldn’t say any one is MORE beneficial than the other. Work them all in, or choose the one you’re most likely to do if you prefer🙂
This is why i love stairs or hills, you dont need to run to get that same exertion. I wanted a new challenge so I was jogging with two 4 litre bottles and my backpack. Two days later my thighs still feel it 😂
Only two things more efficient than walking... Nordic Walking and swimming. Walking does everything but the arms and shoulders while Nordic walking covers everything but the neck. Swimming covers EVERYTHING.
I look forward to your training in the new yr. I have admired your style & technique since I saw the video of you at the beach a few yrs. ago. Now that I have some body pieces repaired/replaced I will have time for this class.
@kbfitbritt I really haven't but I play around with my legs together and just slowly reach for the floor. I think if I stuck with it eventually I'd be able too.
I love lifting weights ❤ I have so much more confidence, my form and strength improve every time I do a rep. It’s not a race, it’s a practice. With the educational videos, understanding the mechanics of my body, along with other modalities I implement, yes, confidence is one of the results. My experience. ❤🦋🐎🦋
I recently got a staff to help train my wrists, i see it is perfect for the assistance in this! I am loving how versatile it already is, as i can turn it into a pullup bar and other peices of equipment if i am creative. You didnt even break a sweat!! 😅
@@acojovanovski2833 hi Aco! Thanks for watching the live today 🙏🏼 Here’s the sign up link for the free 7 Day Kettlebell Jumpstart: www.kettlebellsolo.com/pages/7daykj
You can build strength and mobility with dumbbells, too! There are just a lot of additional exercises that you can do with kettlebells that don't work as well with dumbbells.
@@kbfitbritt oh cos I think you've commented on how your over-training when you were younger wasn't good for many aspects of your well-being. So I was just wondering what you think when you see your younger self training. Please don't feel under any pressure to answer. Was just interested I guess. I appreciate all you do.
@@ouessantpeaches6122 thanks for explaining, I often prefer to get clarity on questions before I answer 🙂 I don’t regret any of the training I did, it taught me valuable lessons and put me on the path I am on now. So while I recognize that I was pushing myself hard for the wrong reasons, I understand why I did and I send love to my younger self! ❤️ Thanks for asking.
@@ouessantpeaches6122 you’re welcome! And while that’s my outlook most of the time, occasionally I get annoyed at my younger self for causing damage im still healing from today. It’s a balance 😆
