I refuse to do business with Nanoleaf ever again. I spent several hundred dollars on the Shapes line when they came out. They looked great. And then the updates started. Every update made performance worse until a controller unit stopped working altogether. I learned that I was far from the only person having this problem and the company would not be fixing it or replacing the units. All the great product design in the world can't make up for customer service that bad.
Your setup is absolutely amazing and the program seems a great solution but it sadly wouldn't work for me because I use an AV-receiver between pc, console, iptv box and media player. I guess i have to make a new version with HyperHDR
they really need to spread out to the rest of the world, i really like these products but for some reason they will not release them to worldwide availability. Love to be able to get these in the UK.
So when you turn out the lights to go to bed, all of the animations turn on? How to switch between Dark - Turn on versus Dark - Turn off the animations?

complete noob to led lights here, and I want to do things properly! I need to hook up 3 strips together, what kind of power supply would I need ? I found a 12v 5A supply on amazon, would that be OK (and safe?) to use? thanks. What would be the other options? Could I buy 2 of those small power supplies and power the strip at both ends ? Thanks!
Hi Chris, I've made a terrible mistake! I mounted my LED strips to the underside of my desk and had those plastic strip-to-strip connectors on each end of each segment, thinking I could use them as strip-to-wire. Unfortunately, the connectors don't connect to wires nearly as well as they do to strips, which I only realized AFTER I'd mounted everything. Soldering now seems like a dangerous no-no, since I'd have to do it upside-down, and I really don't want to take everything down, solder, and put it all back up again. Is there a solution you'd recommend? Perhaps a strip-to-wire connector you're familiar with? Thanks!
I bought the electronic controller based on this video and I have to warn people DO NOT BUY THIS THING UNLESS YOU HAVE A WIFI AP CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET BECAUSE THIS IS A CLOUD ONLY BS DEVICE!!!
I have Govee 65' 2x32' and WLED only sees it as ONE led.. can't seem to get it to see more tried resetting govee to factory just about everything ...seems I'm missing something.. not sure what it is.. I'm kinda knew to this..
Can you achieve this same effect with a ESP32 and a capture card between my Apple TV and TV. I currently have a Hyperion Ambilight setup and would like to expand it to my ceiling lighting (Hue) and undercabinet lights. (WLed) as well as adding strips in my corners like you have!
What about if i need to connect multiple strips. I have a desk built into the wall, with a door in the middle. So 11 feet on left side, 10 feet on right side. How would i connect the 2 sides without just running them over the door frame?
Right. But it still won't work with standard TV/input signal without PC working. Still there is no "just watching tv" ambient light setups other than built-in Ambiligth or Goove. All other stuff are just grabbers or streaming solutions like this one.
quick question, do you need a seprate controller for each strip? or can you say in WLED leds 1-300 are strip 1 (media) then leds 301-600 are strip 2 (tv) etc?
