great video , especially the little bits regarding the lower jaw, my question is i didnt see you removing mill scale from the raw steel bars , is removing important or simply painting on top of it will prevent rust, i have a stick welder, just beginning to start small projects.

Hi there , thanks for your awesome videos. Been watching you for a few years now. I just bought this planer and mine also doesn't have a dust hood. Do you still have the plans for this dust hood ?

another guy improved dustcollection by folding thin plastic in a neat way to close the semicirkled hole. Easily clipped of for blade change. 10 year still running @cosmas?

Hi in the video you compare Vevor from what I can see with 3 knives with a 2-knife Makita. Is there a difference in the quality of planing? There is no head lock in the Vevor. Is there a repeatable even board thickness? Overall, would you buy this machine if it was at the same price as the Makita without paying attention to the comfort and the practical result?

How to avoid changing the Axis of blade which gets changed automatically after a few uses. I used a Drill Machine. But disappointed... Therefore never get a perfect square cut of 90 degree....

Hello Cosmas, great work. I have been planning a dustless woodworking workshop for about 6 years now. With your initiative, you have cleaned up the dustiest tool in the Wood workshop. Why cannot tool manufacturers do this with the tools they sell us? All the best to you!

There is no way I am spending so much time on something which you can buy, but I love your closing sentence! Germans lacking sense of humour? That's so 20th century. Top man, made me chuckle. And of course, top marks for the enthusiasm and for giving me some great ideas. Do you have videos on the belt sander and jigsaw holders? (Mind you, the jigsaw one is a bit crazy, as you didn't fail to point out). 😊

I just saw your videos on the blast gates. This answer a problem I was trying to come up with a solution for. Thank you so much for sharing. Would you be interested in sharing the templates you showed in the videos? I would be willing to pay for them. I don't have access to a drawing software. Again, thank you!

You made is smaller thus increasing the air velocity. But you should od put the hose on the top or on the front. You are fighting inertia of the particles and loosing. instead you should use that inertia to collect the particles. C- Design

Especially those heavier production machines don't like beeing switched on and off that often. They are often left running for the entire shift. But you definitely would not want to do that to hobby equipment. :D

Neat, i usually just cut strips, use double sided tape (i found a pretty cheap carpet type tape that's really bad at gluing carpet, but excellent for wood projects) to stick them together and then proceed to round them with my drill in the dowel maker.
