Thank you for the video, Markus. My son Nick ran the race and finished 34th. I was quite worried about him running at night in the mountains. Because we were following him we had a good idea how tough the race was. But all of your video coverage was "icing on the cake". Brilliant stuff, and well done for completing. Most didn't!

29:33 "...I have no idea why I'm doing this...." And so it it for all 100 milers. And yet we push through, get them done and then sign up for another without answering 'why?'. Love all of your videos Marcus. You capture the spirit of these races so well. I always want to film my runs but in the pit of despair I'm always too fucked to care. I did the 100km and was at the finish line when you crossed but missed you. Next time brother and well done again.
Crazy sh*t this is! Massive congrats. This is the first year I am not racing it. Short note: the first UTS was already 6 years ago, it is the third year under the UTMB conglomerate (and I can tell you from first hand experience that the first couple editions were extremely savage).
Thank for documenting the race, absolutely brilliant 👍🏻. I had the pleasure of sharing a few moments with you but unfortunately I DNF @ 40 miles. I’ll be back next year to finish, would you consider doing the race again next year?
Hey Marcus, thanks for this excellent video. I ran the 100k this year, and really enjoyed re-living various sections from watching this. I have seen a few videos from UTS now, and definitely prefer yours. Great editing, commentary, and overall vibe. Congratulations on finishing the 100 mile course. It's a beast!

My girlfriend and me did it in almost 40hours. Toughest race of our lifes for sure. Congrats! The section between the Cnicht and Gwastadannas was the toughest for us... perhaps because we didn't expect more bogs. That said is a super beautiful race that will push you to the limits.
Another really impressive video Marcus! You have to try to enjoy everything about a race and the togetherness between the runners is one of the most important elements! I want to take part in Snowdonia next year too, the 20k.

Great video, Ian helped keep my spirits up. Heat and blisters got to me and I only made it 70 mile before the cut off stopped me. Nice to see what I missed out on

Well done Marcus, fantastic video as always. I was looking out for you at the start but wasn’t looking at the front 😂 I finished the 55k, was too hot for me not sure how everyone managed 100miles in that heat. Congrats again!
