This is one of my absolute favourite episodes. I genuinenly think about atleast one part of that episode every month/few months. But I must agree that what makes this episode so good is that I have seen I shouldn't be alive. Which is why I enjoyed this parody alot. I have however always had problems with putting people on to this episode, as many people hadn't seen the show and thus didn't enjoy it as much.
I disagree. I’d never seen or even heard of the show this episode was based on. But I haven’t lived a sheltered life, and don’t live in a bubble. So I was still able to appreciate the TYPE of show it was clearly parodying, then find it funny on that basis alone
Yep, it is hilarious that mohammed was in an 3pisode for YEARS and no one cared or noticed... And THEN! The episode was cut after they themselves poimted it out. Kinda pathetic
im trans, the show isnt transphobic for talking about the weirdness of trans women in sports and competitions because it is weird and it is a real thing, i've always said personally in a perfect world we'd have seperate teams for trans men and women so that everybody can play on an equal playing ground like im sure they would prefer, they held inclusivity over competitive integrity yet they won't make seperate teams which would solve both of those issues outright, hopefully one day we get our own sports, but genuinely i dont think we will since the viewership would likely be lower than the female teams already are and that would effect their bottom line
My issue with these bad words is when the people who they are aimed at react with violence. No word being said makes violence a reasonable reaction and it only increases the issues between us humans and it also gives the radical political parties more power and voters which they don't deserve.
I always thought of Cartman as a reflection and personification of evil in our world. If nothing is off limits in parody, you need a fulcrum to be evil. Cartman is a character that can always be the one to do the evil. But because he's a kid it is laughed off as he's just a boy.
0:45 please do, also, I wouldn’t mind seeing a video (whether you disagree or not) on Kyle being the victim. “Pee” is my least favorite episode of South Park and human centiPad would be if it weren’t for the Cartman storyline
Oh God i didn't realize it took years and a glitch to find the uncensored speech. I just assumed it was available and didn't care until after the transcript was available😮
I'm suprised this video is still here after 2 months, and the church didn't pay 50k to take it down. Really enjoyed this blast from the past! thank you!
1:29 I might be crazy in the opposite way: I really love home improvement stores. Just walking around looking at stuff makes me feel calm. Even when I have no idea what something is used for.
On the topic of Kenny's parents, I think Mr. McCormick is worse than Mrs. McCormick. Mrs. McCormick genuinely cares about her kids, at least to some degree. When Kenny started doing opera singing, she seemed genuinely proud of him and happy that he found something that makes him happy, even though he died later in the episode. Mr. McCormick spends all of his time at the bar when he isn't at home arguing with his wife, and seems to only care about his children when it involves money.
How is she an enabler? She wouldn't buy him an iPad, literally pointed a gun at Eric just to get him to go to bed, got him a nanny to straighten him out, got the dog whisperer and actually straightened him out and sent him to a fat camp. And thats just what I could think of off the top of my head. How in anyway is she an enabler? She's a single mom doing only God knows what for money and Eric is an only child. Cartman is just an asshole , his mom can only do so much
My view on the midget subplot was that it tied into the main plot because both depicted the right and wrong ways to handle bigotry. I thought it was a smart move because instead of the episode only being about racism, it was also about bigotry in general.
flipping the script is what the woke have done to people in real life, just its not funny, its terror inducing. but yes south park is one of the funniest things and did that style of writing incredibly uhh... i think you misunderstood the message of a few of these episodes. (something a white man will never understand) even 3 years ago you shoulda known better. but lets just say you were ignorant, welcome to the modern age where that statement is so very wrong.
