Very intersting indeed. One aspect that you didn't cover, was the fact the Dji have restrictions depending on where you live, related to where you can fly, and how high. For many, this must be a deal breaker. Great video. Thanks.
I'm just surprised that DJI hasn't fixed this between batches during manufacturing, even if it was to just add the adhesive like you did during assembly!
Just looking at those calipers I think the sticker is off... 😂 So much more error in your measurement than is acceptable to start fussing about somthing being closer to 1 mm larger than 1 mm smaller... What a joke....
Is the boxer a good radio for rc planes? I'm actually looking into getting a new radio and the new jumper t14 v2 caught my eye I want a radio for both fpv and planes I'm flying with elrs on my quads and spektrum on my planes so I'm either wanting a 4in1 radio with a elrs module is the cheapest route however I don't think that jumper offers a internal 4in1 but rather has the external 4in1 module
Well have have these's goggles with O3 air units and have flown in area's not allowed a bunch of times ,nothing happens ever only if you fly a Dji drone that has a id chip in it is the only way it makes a difference so if you fly your built fpv drone your fine just don't advertise were you fly and don't cause problems that you will get you called on that's the only way you will get caught there is no dark secret with theses' goggles the gps only works with a remote id installed on your drone, so dont put one on and stay away from area's you can get caught just be safe its easy
Nothing wrong with remote ID, if you have a problem with this, fight the regulation not the manufacturer trying to comply. You have the freedom to choose, don't buy their product.
Hi I have a problem removing tin in my FC (ESC PIn ). The tin is very hard to melt even though the solder iron so hot. Do you know how can I check my board is okay or not? I worry I damage the board because of touching the soldering iron too long until get so hot
I bought the cc2500 by mistake is there a way to put elrs on the radio other than buying a module which I have ordered and am waiting on any help is appreciated
I prefer a momentary switch way over a toggle one. By software you can make a toggle one out of a momentary one, with ONE line in the special functions. But you cannot create a momentary one out of a toggle switch. I disarm my wings with a 2sec-press on a momentary switch, to absolutely avoid accidential mid flight disarm. A toggle switch is just useless for that.
Well, in the V2 of the T-Pro, they made it a toggle switch 😉 So, you had to put in code to make sure you are holding down the momentary switch for 2 seconds to make sure it didn’t disarm And did you know you can use the same on the toggle switch
Hello Darren I followed your steps to the the t but my radiometer boxer doesn’t seem to be connecting with elrs at all it just stays stuck at the loading screen
"20% of effort give you 80% of result". The very best performing stuff (whether it motors or any other thing) is never gonna have best the price/performance ratio because to refine shit you have to do a lot more than to juat create shit. There are niches for both good value product and best performance product, and its kinda sad that you just cant grasp the concept of it.
I am new to the hobby, just got this radio for liftoff, i saw yours at 7.8v battery, can i know at what voltage should i charge the radio and how do i charge it? I have been using it for liftoff for 2 weeks and it is 6.8v now.
I get that you enjoy the rant, but what are your solutions to the problems? To just rant without providing solutions is a sign of complete ignorance. What is the accountability to real problems?? Fool-proof plans fail to account for the ingenuity of a dedicated fool. How dedicated are you?
For the love of god...turn down the volume on the videos you show snippets of. Your voice level is low, so I have to turn up the volume to hear you, but when you play a video snippet it is like 5 times louder. It's obnoxious. I have to be on the volume control constantly with this video or it blasts my speakers and wakes up the whole house.
Hello I have Build error : serial.serialutil.SerialException: Cannot configure port, something went wrong. Original message: OSError None, 87) What could be wrong ??? 😞
Thanks for the Video! You mentioned it has built in gyro for head tracking. How can I use that? I could not find any mentioning in software neither a physical output for it.
I feel like you need to prove that the performance gained by "mis-sizing" the motor in theory is equal or at least very close to the performance gained by Chris's design in order to really stand on this hill about incorrect motor sizing. I never once assumed that the measurements for any motor were exactly accurate down to a tenth to begin with honestly; seems people have commented other motors that aren't their exact labeled size either. I'm not interested in making a hundred different motor sizes for each tenth mm and i doubt anyone else is either. The hush hush thing is a bit weird granted, especially given the internet is immediately going to not do that. But I truthfully couldn't give a shit, as long as the motors perform well, holds up well, and don't cost a fortune who cares? I don't get what all the fuss is about.
one year later . is it good idea to wire the hdmi from the hdzero to the new hdmi board (instead of the cam) on the dji air unit 😅 this would work as rang extender also . 😂😅 it's funny experiment to do
