I feel inspired to write a novel set in a post-apocalyptic world where there was a devastating nuclear war which then led to a worldwide nuclear holocaust humanity somehow managed to survive the worst by living in underground fallout bunkers but when they came back to the surface it's not the same world its wasteland. the novel has a very fascinating lore.
It might be really old this series and the story of it was quite good, but I still dislike how you didn't give Transylvania to Romania... Hungary doesn't deserve to be OP (I mean your Hungary of this series)
Funnily enough, Fascism should still be called fascism in this universe. It makes sense because fascis means bundle in Latin, and Italy and Greece would still use the Byzantine alphabet for this.
coming back here to rewatch for the nostalgia seriously, when i was younger i loved these mapping series, but none of them stuck with me nearly as much as this. love your work man
About every year or so I come back to this series and do a full rewatch. I have said this many of times, but this series is the pinnacle of mapping hands down. I love every aspect of the series the dialogue, the music and the flags everything about it is so good. I still remember like it was yesterday watching this for the first time. Thanks again The Alternate Zeitgeist for this epic series.
Man, I remember watching this episode when it came out. This is beautifully written, and even after all this time, I’m looking forward to the next episode!
I have no idea if we will ever get a continuation of this series. If not that is ok, because what we have is still great (after another series rewatch lol) and I know your original plan was just to end it at season 2 and season 3 only exists because of the poll you made all those years ago. This was an interesting episode because it became the episode Germany was clearly the villain. One of the great dynamics of this series is how there was no clear cut good or bad guy before this episode. You could argue some were way worse than others but nothing indisputable. But after this episode Germany is clearly the bad guy and I was interested to see where you were going with this. If you don't plan on ever doing another episode, could you at least maybe mention how much longer the series was going to be and what you had planned for a potential ending?
