I completely ruptured all tendons on the elbow side of the bicep throwing a left hook. Surprisingly my surgeon said he didn’t think I should get the surgery unless I was worried about aesthetics. While I am it wasnt worth the potential nerve complications. I’m too late to change my mind but it’s hard to find a lot of info on no surgery results so I appreciate your video. The most important thing to me is to regain that nasty hook power.
question i have a partial tear, how long dd it take for the pain, when doing certain movements, stopped for you? I'm three weeks in.... did you have a partial or full tear?
I have this unit. I thought i purchased the correct crank style drawback mechanism, I didnt. I inquired with Barnett, with no reply. Anyone know the correct part number for the crank mechanism?
Thanks for sharing this. I too ruptured my Distal Bicep about 5 weeks ago and it has been really tough to make a decision about surgery as I have great range of motion and very little pain if any with the arm. Two surgeons I consulted with definitely wanted to do the surgery, and if I was in a lot of constant pain or had no function with my arm, I would be first in line for the surgery, but given how things feel, I'm more concerned with having a poor outcome after surgery where I can do less with my arm than I can do now. This far along, do you have any issues or pain when you use your arm? I still get some cramping in the bicep area when I try to lift things (where the bicep would be used) but I hear it begins to fade over time.
This is absolutely the most dangerous bow for the shooter. The trigger mechanism does not hold and can go off by itself. The company claims to have a warranty, but it does not make good in its promises. An absolute fail. I would seriously advise anyone to avoid wasting your money on this contraption and buy a reliable name brand instead.
The 505 is the elephant gun of the crossbow world! Mine achieves 521 fps with a 400 grain arrow. With a 470 grain hunting arrow, I’m still at 500 fps. Shooting heavier hunting arrow is a huge benefit for the 505.
This the one I git to start with this year , Question what scope did you go to and can you get it set for 20,30 and 40 on the lines ? I can not keep the quiver from fall off mine is it just mine ?
I know this is an video but some made a comment about the scope being junk. I have one on my barnett crossbow and it is awesome. I target shot it out to 60 yards and i can hit the same spot within an inch from 20 to 60 yards and this past Sunday Nov 5 2023 i killed a nice 8 pt buck at 75 yards and the arrow was dead on the money. Its ok everyone is entitled to their opinion.
That's quite a weapon, but it's no bow..... I think I'd rather see these things in the gun season where they're at a bit of a disadvantage, unlike having them in the real bow season where there's an obvious, some would say even an unfair edge given to the hunter. This one was really quiet, impressively so.
