Its same in ems..i had.people say rude comments...talk to me like i am dumb...were younger than me and had.less education than me and they had a doctor complex
Thanks for this video! It gave me a lot of new perspectives. I wasnt aware being a patient that a new nurse may not have put in an IV before. I had a new nurse blow my vein and accidentally stuck a swob stick up my urethra trying to get an amniotic fluid sample🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ needless to say I was mad at her. Now I feel bad about😩🤦🏽♀️
I have a cousin who never studied much, we studied together but she gives most of her time to her phone than her studies after writing the nclex exam last month she passed and i failed😢, i asked her how she did it, just found out she got help from Mr Richard 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🫢🫢🫢🫢🫢

thank you for this video!!!!!!!!!!! helped me so so much. i will be going into l&d from 1.5 years in medsurg and i’m so incredibly excited and nervous and the genuineness of this video has given me much comfort 🩷
I’m about 4 months into my first nursing job and I can’t explain how encouraging this is to me. I’m going through all those emotions of being on my own at nights and overwhelmed and this makes me hopeful it will be better
My favorites nurses are the postpartum nurses. They are so kind. The labor & Delivery nurses I've gotten aren't bad but some have given me attitude & asked me to be quiet ... are pretty demanding which makes giving Birth in a hospital unpleasant
Can I ask if it is common for ADN students to have a clinical in nursing homes? If it is, I’d like to know if BSN students have a clinical there as well.
I would not think omg playing with babies I'd think new born straight out the womb, lady ripped cooch to hooch, blood, tears, pain, baby screaming etc etc
More like playing with hormonal and sleep deprived women all day AND night 😂. First while they are in pain and may be scared… second when they are even more hormonal and sleep deprived and may be stressed about being a new parent and worrying they aren’t doing anything right. Babies is just a small part of labor and delivery. Not to mention they kick out overbearing visitors. That’s a special kind of awesome right there.
I have PERSONALLY pi55ed in front of, sh4t in front of, and even when I was hemorrhaging during my last birth, gushed vaj4yj4y bl00d alllll over the FACE of one of these fine people.😢 So. Respect. Mad Respect. Because they never let you see them slippin. You don't get to see their repulsion...their horrified faces or thoughts. They are the poker players of the room. 🤫😌Thank you to the real ones who didn't make me feel like garbage for just being a woman giving birth...even in the MOST TRAUMATIC SITUATIONS possible, sometimes. To those last ones, my son and I owe you our lives! ❤
My wife and I had agreed that I could record the birth on my phone, but when it came time the delivery nurse told me I couldn't. So now I hate all delivery nurses 🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕
I labored for 36 hours so I had a few nurses. I will never forget the one who stayed late past her shift to take care of me. (This was also during covid so I couldn't have my mom with me). She saved me all the red jello she could find. She was sad my son wasn't born while she was there, but happy he was born on her birthday. lol
Lemme tell you, labour and delivery nurses don't get the respect they deserve. My cousin is a L&D nurse and she's seen so many things that I'm surprised she's able to keep herself together. She's always been the kindest person I know, and I can't imagine what's going through her head.
