Hello and welcome!

I'm Caitlin, a 500-HR certified yoga instructor, certified trauma-informed yoga teacher, and mental health advocate. I believe yoga and breathwork are powerful tools to regulate our emotions and help us live more balanced, fulfilling lives.

I'm here to support you through your yoga journey. On my channel you'll find yoga and breathwork practices of varying lengths, difficulties, and focuses. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

never had a influence to commit to try yoga until I came across your channel was looking for a hip stretch because it is so important for athletic performance! I saw your trunk stability is perfect and I knew you had a great knowledge It was the narration that made me not over wellmd to yoga I felt and had huge gains after first stretch following your lead I ow you a thank you お疲れ様です。どうもありがとうございました。

I am not able to do frog pose. What stretches or exercises can I do to help that? (Your puppy is adorable!)

Hi Deborah, here are a few stretches to work up to frog pose: - Seated butterfly: Pressing your elbows on your knees to deepen the stretch + increase flexibility over time - Half frog: Similar to frog, but with one leg at a time (we do this one in this class) - Supported frog: Rest bolster(s) under your torso to control the amount of pressure you're exerting on your hips. I recommend starting with 2 or 3 bolsters, and gradually removing them over time as it gets easier. I hope this helps! And Mocha says thank you for the compliment! 🥰

I'm a veteran with chronic fear and chronic pain no doc can figure out. I have done this video and the hip one everyday for the last 2 months and I haven't slept this well or been this calm since I was a teen. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Today (on my 39th birthday) I decided that I am no longer going to continue living my life with high anxiety stemming from trauma. Today I’m taking back control by treating my mind and body with love and kindness. I will overcome this. Today was my first time doing Yoga and I absolutely loved it. Looking forward to doing more of your classes. Thank you so much for leading me on the path to healing ❤

when is the best time of day to do an emotional release yoga practice?

I'd say it's different for everyone -- whenever works best in your schedule, where you can have some uninterrupted time. I like to do them a few hours before bed because I tend to feel tired after, and I like to spend some time afterward journaling and relaxing, then getting some rest.

😢i usually get quite ill after doing pigeon pose and yin yoga. Its weird. First time i have done it in a long time

Thanks Caitlin, I’ve just started exploring after some recent experiences with aroma therapy & cbd+ I felt I started to breathe deeper and start stretching and it felt so good., especially in hips etc. Then I came across your videos😊 really helpful. I like the pace and style and trauma informed. I feel so tight though, but it feels so good, I never experienced this before. Thanks

I’ve just recently discovered your videos! I have been doing yoga for several months now, but I tend to rotate between the same creators and same videos. I prefer doing yoga for 10 minutes at a time, so it’s nice to see you have some recent uploads. I also appreciate your calm voice and visuals. I prefer when people speak softly so it’s been really nice to discover your videos!

Amazing class! It's a second day in a row doing yours yoga classes. Gave me lots of peace at the end, some knots in the chest and throat during but the crying didn't came at all... But I realised lots of reasons/roots of my bad feelings. Your work is amazing! Kisses from 🇧🇷🇧🇷

Your dog... He's the replica of mine old senior who passed in October. I bawled this entire video after your dog came on screen. It made me think "oh! There you are Cano. You didn't die. You just had to go rescue this other gal, be her soul-dog now, be her good boi! Mama misses you - but I'm happy to see you." Cano used to do all of the same things your dog does ... Super glad to have found this video. So I can come back and see Cano on occassion. ❤

Cano was 15, I rescued him from a horrible situation. He was my little shadow. Dogs are the best gift on the planet and we are lucky when they choose to love us ❤

Thank you for your practice, and double thanks for your dog. I just remembered how my precious baby use to interrupt me while my practice. I haven't seen her for 2 years now, she's with my parents in occupied part of Ukraine. Whan I left, I didn't think it would be for so long. And now due to war I cant come back. I just hope I will see my dog and my parents someday

Wow…oh my goodness, I didn’t know how much I needed this. My body is feeling so relaxed and refreshing. I have the urge to keep take long deep ahhh breaths. Thank you so much! Also, 20 minutes seems to have flew by. It felt more like 5 minutes.
