It always fascinates me how people especially in the west or the ones l that are too influenced by them don’t have a reference. We Muslims, we have a problem with something, we go back to the Quran, we go back to what Our prophet Muhammad said and we find the answer. It’s not right or wrong kinda reference, it’s a haram or halal because of these reason kinda reference. In Islam, things like that are not for a discussion, the answer that’s given makes sense so much that no one can argue. The entire argument in the west between women and men to this day is because they dont something to go back to but opinions, ideologies that created by humans, and opinions and ideologies can be easily flawed, biased and based on hate for the opposite gender. I hate it when people try to justify things like that, “ummm maybe if it’s based on maturity …” no. If you’re a Muslim then no, I’m only talking to Muslims cause I really don’t care for no one else, please stop trying to go around things that you know are haram for a valid and logical reasons. It’s not about you getting convinced, it’s about what makes sense.
I just never thought of this before, like you’re so smart that you can actually wake something up in people’s minds. I will do what you said more, to set with myself more with my own thoughts and just think. And I really think you should never stop doing podcast, i never liked podcasts and never listened to any of them but yours is just so special. A Muslim girl that we can relate to, listen to and have common interests with, we have the same knowledge and the same reference to things and life. It’s so important and it’s rare, we barely see that and that’s why we need it.

everything you've said is really fascinating and well put. thing is near the end i feel like u get lost in almost blaming people. "you're choosing to waist potential" thing is, truly ask why people are behaving the way they are. do outside circumstance's make them seek escaping? why was the digital world the only thing afforded to those people and why don't people want to live in the world outside of their phone?? i feel like u defs understand the state of the world present day, so you can definitely see why people are escaping via a fuck tone of excessive dopamine. i feel the same way you do when i see people and myself, unable to function through life and coping with their devices. but i don't blame them i blame the world created around us that forces many into this circumstance.

Thank you so much farah I am an 18 year old girl i have fell in love with a boy for over two years now and he said he feels the same way at first we were almost deceived to getting into a haram relationship but god knows that always mentioned him in my dua and prayed for allah to guide us both and to reunite us in halal so a couple days ago he told me he does not feel comfortable because he knows what we’re doing is haram and harmful for both of us and I didn’t stop him because as much as it hurts me I know it’s the right thing and i know it’s because my duas got accepted, it’s been really hard on me i won’t lie and say that doing the right thing always feels right and makes you feel good (maybe not at first) because i keep crying and talking to allah and journaling so i could feel better and it feels like a wake up call because for the first time after that boy has been away from me I truly questioned myself “who am i? What’s my purpose? How do i stop looking at myself as if i am someone else and actually live in the present” so i want to give up all these pleasures and actually start to find myself and this video comforted me in a way or another so thank you very much and for everyone reading this comment please pray for allah to guide and heal me because I truly feel suffocated and may allah bless all of you
