My old gal had been acting weird lately, with sudden hard drive problems. Finally got it open safely thanks to this video and got it clean. That's all it took, and she's now fully functional again :D Thanks.
Not sure if this is true or not but I’ve heard that irritations such as Vaseline, or other ways to make them latch off like this will cause the tick to vomit, increasing chance of disease prior to latching off. Can anyone w an understanding and background in this explain/debunk?

Damn man I have opemed up so many laptops and this one stumped me for a while......thank you for making what SHOULD be a powerful laptop, actually that. Ive had 100% disk use for too long and now it is finally the machine I always needed it to be.
When doing this be sure to change the 13 pin adapter (probably in kit). I've found I get around 70,000 miles out of them before they fail causing similar symptoms as conductor plate.
@Hook It Up Thank you for this tutorial, i was working on a customers laptop and i ended up using an old credit card & spudger wedge to help save my fingernails, lol!!
Hi, i've an HP Pavilioj 15-cs2093nl notebook...I need to change the SSD that is nearly died (an SK hynix BC501 HFM256GDJTNG-8310A 256 GB), and thanks to this guide it seems easy :) Anyway, I can't buy the exact model of the Hynix SSD since it is out of production...can u please suggest me what exact model can be compatible with my notebook (and if I have to buy specifically a 256 GB model or I can buy a 512 GB)? I've a clone of my disk and I want to bring it in the new hard disk. Many thanks :)
On top of the Harddrive is a NVMe harddrive slot, the newer versions have there a 256GB Toshiba kbg30zmv256g bg3 nvme harddrive installed just as windows boot drive.
