Does the womens strategy - define the root cause of violence against women? - have a plan to give women at a local grassroots level the ability to organise politically? - why social housing and not public housing. The recent audit into public housing pointed to many problems? - how does the strategy redistribute material resources and political power to women?
I heard some hyperbole that QLD suspended the human rights act so they can put 10 year old car thieves in adult prisons? Instead of fixing the housing crisis, the healthcare crisis, the bigotted voter crisis, and the indigenous incarceration crisis. Please explain why there shouldn't be economic sanctions against QLD. Close all mines and airports indefinitely, nationalise corporate entities that complain they are not making enough profit, and de-register the LNP as a terrorist hate political group.
Great, I want to lodge a complaint re govt Centrelink policy of forcing me to do more than I’m able, or even required to do ( 15 hrs wkly - yet I do more ), at 61, since they don’t recognise my self employed hours, nor recognise my care time obligations I’ve had to give to my mother, and still intimidate me as at risk of losing my benefit if I don’t follow Workforce Australia directives (APM ) to damn well get an extra EMPLOYEE type job instead ( which gives commission to APM )and a full time one, even though at my age part time is the requirement, that they consider to be REAL work. I wasn’t able to get a carer payment either, as mum doesn’t satisfy the means test, and they say my self employed taxable income is not high enough to have my hours recognised. I am already pushed to my energy limit, and I feel my human rights are violated by this narcissistic inflexibility. Is it only Deception Bay , or do all Centrelink offices behave in this reprehensible way?

It is very rare to get am adoption in Child Safety. Nothing is rushed either it takes years to ensure permanency for that child because of delayed court proceedings, usually take years before Long term is ensured
As a person with severe disabilities who has been on the Qld public housing wait list for 17 years and been ignored, I find human rights to be a joke. In the least they are ignored by the Qld Government and their delivery of services. The implementation of Human Rights law in Qld, excluding the right to an adequate standard of living is absurd. Australia ratified that Covenant in 1948. 1948! And yet, you can apparently have the right to access products as a person with disability but not to then take those products home to a safe and stable environment. Absurd and laughs in the face of vulnerable people and makes us feel that as we keep being told through government inaction, we don't matter. Why is the Moreton Bay Housing Service Centre and the Qld government still telling me I cannot have somewhere for my disability support worker to sleep so I can access overnight disability support? Why are they still saying thye won't provide me with space for my disability equipment? Why are they saying I have to sleep on the couch still, after 6 months of doing so because the emergency housing they provided isn't at all appropriate? How is that acceptable and how is that in line with Qld Human Rights legislation and the Anti-Discrimination Act? I am proof the Qld Government openly ignores human rights and expects people with disabilities to continue to suffer and become more disabled. Again, 17 YEARS waiting for a safe and stable home.
A very good open discussion on the use of the restrictive practice. I am a victim of restrictive practices for over 14 years. It is so appalling that most of society does not know this happens. So sad! I have been locked up in closed hospital wards for over a year of my life. Plus in the community as of freedom of movement. It has retraumatized me as before these restrictive practices I am a victim of domestic violence. The perpetrator never got any police record for this violence against me and my son. And mental health services did nothing to support me just torture me more.

ELIZABETH SWARTZ and CHARLES BERGMAN Wood County PROSECUTOR went into the Wood County Juvenile Court telling the court and the juvenile judge that my 3 sons were in immediate danger and they were not in immediate danger and they lied on their affidavits to kidnap my 3 sons which is unlawfully and unconstitutional to take away my 3 sons Emmanuel Joseph Cook, Asuncion Omar Garcia and Jonathon Michael Barreda away from me. These individuals should be charged criminally but I Rebecca Ann Cook I am Biological mother of my 3 sons was alienated from me and my children and throughout the entire case no matter what I did I still did not get my children back. I am currently challenging the illegal custody that Wood County CPS was granted by a Juvenile Judge DAVID E. WOESSNER that has been involved with Wood County CPS and Wood County Prosecutor's office in money trafficking our children for money tearing american children from their loving and forever homes and slaughtering the American Children for money profit that they get from the granting that the government provides to them this is a BIG RED FLAG now they are taking 1 million american children from their loving and forever homes and putting them in Foster Care were they are favoring strangers instead of their real biological parents this is wrong and when is everyone going to do or help us with theses types of situations.
