🤔 hmmm??To be able to be saved there must be something one is saved from. I have always thought that one is saved from something bad and dangerous. From something dangerous from which the person cannot save himself/herself from. That it is necessary for someone else to save him/her from what ever the situation is... how can one be saved of be forgiven from something they have not done?? This Catholic man is not making sense.

Trent Horn is doing himself no favours whatsoever if he thinks appeals to the "grooviness" of "Pope Francis" [sic] are helpful in opposing Protestant objections to Catholicism. Archbishop Vigano, former nuncio to the United States, and Fr. Paul Cramer (the latter prominently spotlighted by non-traditional media content provider Jeffrey Rense) unite in saying that Jorge Bergoglio is actually an antipope who unlawfully seized the papal throne due to the subterfuge that was Benedict XVI's pseudo-resignation. Considering the way Bergoglio nastily persecutes Vigano, forcing him to go into exile to avoid being "oceaned" (the way the Argentine brutes of Jorge Videla et al disposed of their ideological opponents during the so-called Dirty War, dropping them out of airplanes into the sea--- it seems Frankie learned well, sadly...), i am personally convinced that Vigano and Cramer are correct. After all, they are NOT the ones who brought a pagan idol right into a Roman church and the very grounds of the Vatican. Frankenpope did that, and even after two heroic Austrian Catholics managed to dump the offending idol into the Tiber, Jorge did not repent of his idolatry but instead issued a bleeding-heart lament that the feelings of fellow idolaters might have been hurt. Here is what I do not get over with. You guys fight over an argument, that was formulated in the Middle Ages. This first mover argument and its creator did not know a nickel about physics. So the whole argument is based on observations, which are extremely limited compared to the knowledge and proven facts we have now. So why fight over the nitty gritty of this old argument. It’s like fighting over the utility of a bucket for carrying water but the bucket has holes like a Swiss cheese.

Excellent video, and very thoughtful. However I do want to say something on the Devil being omniscient. Modern and Ancient literature uses attributions (IDK if that is the correct term) to apply the actions of one individual to another. In fact, so far as I know, all sacraments of the Roman Catholic church are done by Pope Francis. How? is he omniscient? no. He has been goven authority by God, and he shares his authority with all clergy. Because he is in charge and authority originates in him, we can rightly say _he_ married Stu and Sally, even if it was really Fr. Joe. The most straightforward and safest reading is that Satan personally does little. Rather, his demons do it for him. Because he is in charge, we can say he does it. Satan mimics God, and if we are blessed with guardian angels, who's to say we don't have enemy-demons? indeed, what was Paul's "angel from Satan", his "thorn in his side?" The Holy Scriptures in one breath in John mentions that Jesus' disciples baptised, but not him, then turns and calls it, "Jesus' baptism." How so? the very Lord himself was the rabbi over the 12 who were baptizing.

The system must definitely make it easy for people to avoid temptation, the responsibility falls both on system and the individual alike, not on one without the other. If neither Judaism nor Christianity can make that reality clear then neither religion is qualified to lead.

I have read ‘The Universal Christ’. I disagree with your characterization of Richard Rohr’s statements as heresy. The Triune God has existed for all eternity. Christ has and will be with us for all time. Christ was incarnated as Jesus. There’s no heresy in that. You can twist words to suit your own agenda all you want.
The catholic religion is full of anathemas since 1550 against Reformation. Full of Mary-idolatry, wrong authorities, papacy etc. Man made believs without any Inspiration, even there are always some people thankfull for the finished work of christ.

Actually, the papacy is a stumbling block to Catholics, not to other branches of Christianity! And since Jesus never leads those whom He calls out of various false religions into Catholicism, directly, that means everything. That God does not approve of the Roman Catholic Church. Jesus never leads a person either into Catholicism or Eastern Orthodoxy, or Protestantism. He leads those whom He calls to Himself, and to the Bible alone. That says everything! It is men and women, who cling to worldly structures, who swap from one branch of Christianity to another, thinking they've found the greater truth, or from one religion to another... like school children walking through the train, thinking one wagon is more cool and fun than the other. God wants us to no longer rely on worldly structures, but on the Spirit and the Word - written and made alive in us. Where each individual is conformed to the image of God that God Himself is forming and shaping in each individual. Just as the Hebrews deceived and destroyed themselves by demanding to have their own earthly kings... most of which were corrupt, so too in the modern age, when Christians take pride in their earthly institutions of Catholicism, Orthodoxy and Protestantism, they are completely missing the point of what Christianity actually is! And, ironically these very 'Christians' often end up going the same route in their lives as the ancient Jews did: first apostasy, then prideful atheism, or paganism and the various religions of Satan. In fact, by the Biblical definition of "the Way", they are not Christians: they have divided allegiances. When the Way of Jesus Christ morphs into something different from the original, which is defined and recorded in the Bible, it is no longer following the original established way. And all of the 3 primary branches of Christianity have morphed into something different. Veering away from the Way. Each one to a different degree. For the Catholics, it's the papacy and the whole Catholic church system which represents nothing of the original Christians of the Bible. This is why when a person is called out of a false religion, by Jesus, those individuals who know what falsehood looks and tastes like, they never become ardent: Catholics, Orthodox Christians, or Protestants. Instead they just call themselves, as the first century persons did: followers/disciples of Jesus Christ. It's not some kind of official label, it's not even a denomination or a church name, it's just fact. Christians are distinguished by their humility, not their pride. By their love, not their feuding. By their separation from the ways of the world, not by worldly divisions which separate them from one another. By their division from error which causes unity, not by their error which causes division and separation from truth. By their teachability, not by their obstinateness. So, the author of this video has himself something to learn. Something basic/foundational. 🙏🙇♂️

I talk to my mom and dad all the time. My sister believes sola scriptura and has never talked to my parents. Imagine my surprise. I don't expect an answer from them, but it gives me comfort to informally chat with them.
Gavin’s entire video is a defense for the magisterium. His concern about when veneration crosses the line into idolatry and superstition requires we have someone or some judge to take each case to for a determination or guidance. Otherwise one man’s veneration is another man’s idolatry. No unity is possible. No settlement of disputes, etc.
I'm extremely considering the more "Orthodox Christianity" but, I am still unsure whether I should convert or not. Would it pull me closer to God? Could I be saved whilst being in a protestant denomination? Is it possible to be saved when I have a faith, and am a "fruitful tree" and take communion (crackers and grape juice, but if I truly believe that is the body and blood of Christ) Please, I would really appreciate if a more educated Christian could tell me whether I could be saved whilst being in a protestant denomination.
