I forgot to mention that you can definitely cook this on a charcoal grill for added flavor. Just make sure to use a grilling basket to hold everything in place, and you'll be rewarded with a smoky delicious grilled fish. I hope you give it a try! That's it, after years of using RU-vid recipes I found the best channel with the best recipes out there. I made 4 of your recipes within a month and each has doable, precise instructions and the food tastes absolutely delicious. How are toy not on the TV yet?
Hey man! Thank you so much for your recipes. I live in Ukraine, and as you may have heard, we're in a tough spot right now. But today was my wife's birthday -- yeah on Valentine's Day :) -- so I decided to make your " DELICIOUS whole grilled fish," and Fisherman's Rice. OMG! It was perfect. Satisfying, tasty, and you could tell it took love to make it. Thank you for putting a smile on my face, and my family's. This was a dish to remember...the smells in the kitchen, wow! Cheers from Ukraine. We can live in peace. All it takes is kindness and empathy...and love.
@@MiddleEats Just discovered your channel, I love Middle Eastern food and now I'm very hungry, and subscribed. Don't miss the Libyan TV making you an offer in the comments, by the way.
Hi I’m an Asian living in the Middle East and loved the baked Arabic fish available here in a supermarket chain and was always looking for something similar I can prepare at home and impress my family and friends and I must say this preparation ticked all the boxes. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe
I made this for me and my father (both Australian, and the only people in my family who like seafood) along with your fisherman's rice recipe and they were both incredible. I think my dad called it delicious 9 or 10 times while eating it. I've been watching your videos for quite a while now and everything I have cooked from your channel so far has been absolutely fantastic!
Just ate this for dinner it was really delicious, I will %100 make it again! Good recipe for cutting up a fish for the first time since i could hide how seriously messed up my fish looked at the end 👍
Thanks Obi, keep those amazing Egyptian seafood dishes coming, Sangari is my favorite fish recipe, rich in flavour and easy to prepare. I have a very good reason to go to the fish monger this weekend.
72k subscriber! You were just at 50! This is amazing. I love your channel and I am so glad you are getting a larger audience and more Partons!. Keep it up
I really appreciate that you showed the way to butterfly the fish in your video..☺️will definitely try this recipe...looks yummy, greetings from Malaysia
Can confirm the Swissmar Borner V-Slicer is great! I also keep a Benriner around for the rare occasions when I need TRULY paper thin vegetable slices, but 95% of the time, I reach for the V-slicer. And you can’t beat that safety grip!
Obi my man thanks for making me feel more and more homesick...just had Fisherman's Rice with Grilled Salmon but unfortunately the camera was too slow in coming. Maybe next time Inshallah.
I absolutely love singari! Always order it where ever I go. Usually here in Cairo it has a slightly different recipe than Alexandria but all variations of this dish are amazing!
I made this yesterday for dinner it was so delicious, i made it with Haddock tho and I could have finished it all my self but the only think stopping me is that I have limited space in my stomach 😆. Cant wait to try your other recipes especially the pitta and shawarma. thank uuu
Glad you liked it and thank you for trying it out. It's honestly such a flavourful way of preparing fish. I think out of all countries, Egyptians do seafood best. Try the rice next time too, you'll find it's perfect with the fish
That looks really tasty . Could you use the same sort of topping and marinade for butterflied chicken breast ? Pork chops ? lamb ? Or would you suggest slightly different ingredients for these meats ?
Very good instructions as usual! I don't know of any fishmongers where I live but I'm sure this recipe would work fine with a fillet. The flavors look intense.
So glad your channel was recommended to me! Looking forward to making a lot of these recipes. Would LOVE to see your take on Lentil Soup - I absolutely can not make it correctly at home.
Hey dude love your videos! Only just found your channel. Could you do a breakdown of all the spices, and when and where to use them as I, an uncultured Brit, has no understanding of any spices other than paprika and chilli powder :p
Most people have little idea of the damage those things can do... Having worked in kitchens for a long time, I've never seen worse injuries than those caused by a mandoline... ALWAYS use the hand guard.
Amazing channel! Can you make a video how you make a "Mirza Ghasemi"? I ate this dish in a persian restaurant and it had an amazing smokey flavour! Don't know how to achieve this at home. Br Gori
Thank you for this beautiful channel. Whenever ı try your recipes ı come out with a good result. but for this recipe ı dont have fresh coriander in my region. what do you think can be substitute for it?
Wow, that's an amazing recipe, and well explained as always! The small tips given in your videos are really useful for us european people to understand and cook nice middle east cuisine dishes, keep on with this great channel!
I just tried this recipe with milkfish and it was a hit with my family. I actually liked it too despite me having that gene that unfortunately makes cilantro taste like soap. The grilling certainly subdued its strong flavour and it blended well with the other ingredients.
