@@PeterC408 No Peter, I bought a set from Ali. And yes they still work and no they haven't gone on fire! They aren't as clever as these but the process is just the same. Simple but effective upgrade 👍

Good system. I have the Govee version with the top mounted camera. Had to go that route because when I use the internal apps on my Samsung the apps do not send an output to the HDMI

What I have suggested to lytmi a few times is to make this kind of kit with android os it android TV built in. It would be a first.

But if my tv is not using any hdmi inputs and is a smart tv, this wont work will it?

In that case, you would want to use a different TV. The signal needs to go over HDMI to be monitored at the passthrough.

I have the lytmi fantasy 2 kit and its brilliant. I was using it on an LG TV🤮 for eight months. But i changed yo a pholips tv. The lytmi kit was better in most ways than the pholips qmbilight on my yv. What i dont miss with the lytmi kit is on fark scenes my philips tv dtill has very low white output. I know a lot of people prefer it yo go completely black but that defys the idea of having the kit. I rather the very low light ehite output on datk areas. But theblytmi matched whats on the screen a lot better than the philips smbilight does.
