When my mom passed I was crying uncontrollably on the bed holding her sweater. My body made me stop because I couldnt breathe. A little while later I was looking for something in my dresser and came across a trinket box. I opened it and there was a note in it saying " I love you" in my mother's handwriting. It brought ne so much peace. ❤
Lots of wierd stuff like that happened me when my Mom died. I woke up ever morning for the first month with an Abba song in my head. It was her favorite (not even a little mine). Once I realised it was happening I would have to let it play out in my head for a while before I knew what song it was, because I don't know them very well, I would get a chunk of words and a tune and eventually I would be like oh that's nice that's another Abba song. And each time there was a lovely message for me ❤
So cool! I had a similar experience after my father died. I was was so devastated. I had an out of body experience during the night on the 3rd day of his death. I was able to visit him where he gave me peace from that day forward.
My mom passed away too and about a year later I discovered My mom left a note for me inside of my Bible in regards to success and hard work . She also highlighted a few scriptures pertaining to success. I found it at a time where I was seeking to become more successful. ❤
The Friday before Mother’s Day, I was walking out of a store when a woman walked up to me, handed me a rose, and said “ Happy Mother’s Day ”. I told her I wasn’t a mom just yet but I appreciate the kind gesture - she told me to keep the rose anyway. I honestly did not believe that I was pregnant at that time, just that I had an irregular cycle and that my period was late as it had been in the past. I was planning to take a pregnancy test the following week just to be safe, and decided to on Mother’s Day. Turns out, my pregnancy tests came out positive, and I am now expecting a little one at the beginning of 2025. I truly believe this was a sign from my loved ones!
Me and my family were with my grandpa as he was passing in his bed. When his time came he stared intensely at the ceiling and said “they are coming for me,” we asked who, he said his sister along with other passed relatives. He said it was so bright and he looked so secure and happy as he was leaving his body. It was beautiful.

Okay this is my sign! So someone told me to get this book. So I ordered The Light Between Us yesterday. Today I walked to my Amazon pick up box to get it. Got back home, turned on the Jay Shetty Podcast and here he is interviewing the writer of the book I just walked in with. So in my books I always write a special note to myself. In this one I wrote, “Just be open.” And she literally says that in this interview. I love being connected to my source within. Grateful for this journey. I had a similar experience but reversed. I was randomly listening to a podcast while shopping. It was some guy I'd never heard of called Dr Joe Dispenza ;-). Anyway, Hadn't heard of him at all, was hooked in, and just looked up at the right time and there was the book "Becoming Supernatural" right in front of me. Of course I had to get it.
The same thing happened to me! I’ve been telling myself I wanted a copy of The Secret for a while. I went to a garage sale a few weeks ago and not only did I pick up The Secret, but Signs too! It stuck out to me in a pile of books so I picked it up and bought both for four dollars. I can feel the book screaming at me to read it since I’ve bought it. I chose this podcast this morning, not knowing that this was the author of the book! I was bewildered when I heard the title drop! Ironically, this was my sign to read Signs. Last summer, I was reading “Signs” while sitting outside in a chair, and when I got to the chapter about dragonflies a dragonfly landed on the page! I was stunned! It sat there for a long moment and then flew off.❤ I put the book away for many months and just a few days before seeing this interview placed it on a tray on my bed. I clicked on this feed and was shocked the author was speaking of her book that sat two inches from my hands! I had no idea who or what I was about to watch on my phone. I was listening to this book on audible and it was a chapter talking about sunflowers as signs and I looked to my left and there was a home with a large garden on sunflowers in the front yard

So when she says "Before we have formal language we are just reading energy" this is really interesting because as a med student we are taught infants have what is called a language acquisition device. This device allows infants to understand all language.
Laura and Jay please write some books for kids on how to harness the powers they are born with. Some books to normalize what they feel/see/hear and support them in growing those powers. Thank you guys for doing this! My son is 5 and since he was 3 he always casually (as if it’s nothing new or not taboo) will bring up things that have happened from his “past lives”. And the things he brings up aren’t crazy or wild things. They’re pretty normal things. He also talks about a brother Jason from a past life. I love listening to him talk about it. He’s intensely sensitive and intuitive. He can read a rooms energy. I wish I could help guide him to keep his “third eye” open.
I love that you want to support him! I had a mom who punished me for the things I said and I thought something was wrong with me. I realized later in life that I was not punished for being me. I was punished because I spoke the truth. She was trying to squash the truth.
This sounds like your purpose, as you are actually going through the experience of what you want them to write about, so to me it sounds like this experience is actually preparing you to write about how you encourage your child to keep his gifts open, no-one is born a writer but we all have a book within us 😊
As long as he knows it is okay at home, I think he will keep it. I think I was around 7 when I realized normal kids couldn't do what I did, so I started blocking it, to fit in.
My parents put me in a psyche ward when I was 6 because I could hear voices so loud in my head... it was my inner monologue but no one would listen to me. It told me my entire life that I was meant to do something great... im headed in that direction, it's showing now in my 30's
Same here but my mom believed me bc she had it too. It’s a gift but so scary when you’re a kid. My voices used to argue and talk over each other trying to get my attention. I still don’t quite understand why they would try and speak to little kids who can’t articulate what they heard.

I do believe every person has psychic abilities. I remember my uncle always wanted our families to get together so he finally threw a party and the day was amazing. He's usually a grumpy man but this day he was so bright and loving.The next day he came over to take my brother for dinner and I had this huge feeling of going outside to tell him goodbye. I didn't. A few days later he passed away due to complications from a recent surgery.

And whatever that answer is that is what you should listen to. Deep inside of you, you have all the answers you need but you have to get quiet first to be able to hear it. My mom passed away from Breast cancer, the last few days in the hospital her Oncologists told the family She only has a few days to live let her enjoy whatever she likes as far as food if she's up to eating it. Every time I went to the hospital to visit her I asked her what she would like me to bring her for food. I would bring it and she would only eat a bite or 2 but it Felt good to be able to do something. The last meal I brought to the hospital Before she passed was a cheeseburger and French fries From McDonald's. I had my children who were young in the vehicle with me on the way to the wake for my mother. I knew they were hungry since I had just picked them up from school so I went through McDonald's drive through. I ordered my children meals. And out of the blue the car in front of me ended up picking up the whole tab. But there's more .... my youngest tells me mommy why did they get me 2 cheeseburgers and 2 fries, we only order 1 cheese burger & fry?...... Right then and there I knew my mom was trying to say she's here with us.❤
I cry all the time lately. Not hysterically, more like soul weeping. Something is happening to me. Super sensitive empath. I used to have selective mutism as a kid, and as a teenager had a severe fear of public speaking. One time during speech day, I felt this warm energy emanating from my friends and I thought 'I belong.' As soon as that thought crossed my mind, a surge of warmth rose up and flooded my chest, and instantly washed my fear away. When I got up to do my speech I heard very clearly in the back of my mind, a calm and amused voice say: This isn't scary, this is fun. And I could see and feel a very warm golden ray of light from behind me. That clarity in my head and the warm energy kept the voice of fear so far away from me that the first time ever without trying, I stood up and did my speech without any fear. I was 12 at the time and I always thought of that as a very cool experience. 🌞
Strange I used to also have selective mutism as a kid. Because of the religion I grew up in, I used to have to go up stage and talk to the whole church. I started to do this around 12 and had a similar experience. I used to be so nervous and scared but as soon I was up there, I would feel a similar feeling of warmth and calm and was able to speak on stage. I used pray and ask God for help and thought that's what that was. I'm no longer religious but I still believe there is something out there to guide and help us, what it is I don't exactly know. But I enjoy hearing what others think it is or may be.

The Yoga part makes total sense. I know I am fairly clairvoyant because I know things before they happen or sometimes after they happen. So I have been teaching yoga for over 15 years and have 800 hours of 800 hours of certified Yoga Teacher Training. When you go through YTT you are taught meditation. I believe if you do have a consistent meditation and yoga practice that your chakras which are energy centers are activated including your crown chakra is above your head. I like to call it our antenna where we receive energy and information. .
I can hear people's thoughts, I can send a message through telepathy to people in different locations, my son was in the hospital and I told him something he heard my voice as if I were there.I have the ability to also see the departed. Since I was a little girl I've had strong abilities. I don't see colors often but I can see the face of others change if they are being controlled by other energies. I've always embraced my ability.

Sign- Long story short: The day after my friend transcended I ended up at a beach and realized I was like 5 min from one of “his” spots (had no idea). I asked him to show me a sign that he sent me here. I drove to “his spot” which was a Korean bell in a gazebo by the beach. I went up to the bell and the only two people there were a lil boy and his mom. I realized, the little boy kept running around the bell saying MY FRIEND’S NAME out loud. I almost died 😂🥰 he comes in very strong for me. I looked up the meaning of the bell and it meant friendship 🥰🙏 I feel him closer to me now than when he was “alive”. I’m very left brain and have asked for solid signs for years. At this point I’ve even seen my transcended dog in the back yard (a few months after the passed). It’s magical and I just love it 🫶🫶🙏
A few days after my dad passed I was inside a store getting food for my dog when I heard so very loudly someone (or something) whistling the theme song of The Andy Griffith Show. My dad loved that show and it was constantly playing on the TV. It was so loud and in my face that it stopped me in my tracks and I looked around trying to figure out where the whistling was coming from. Everyone around me was just carrying on shopping and oblivious to the sounds I was hearing. I know that was a sign from my dad. ❤
I love this so much! My son had told me that sometimes he seems to feel or see something and it happens. I encouraged him to tune into that and pay attention to his body and how he's feeling in those moments, it's an amazing gift that not all of us are in touch with.
My favourite part of this podcast is the excitement Laura shows the entire time. It's amazing to see how present she is and how she enjoys talking about the topic. She's almost like a crazy cat person who is being asked about cats, she just goes off and enjoys every moment of it (Not meaning that in an offensive way at all or calling her crazy, it's just the energy she radiates).
Funny enough I was single for five years. During that time wasting my time on the wrong men. So one day I told myself I’m not talking or dating until I find someone who right is for me. One morning I woke up and I had a download/feeling that he is near and that I’ll meet him soon. And I did and our 4 year anniversary is coming up next month ❤

He called me like he said he would unlike other guys who forget or don’t follow thru. In June when restrictions slightly lifted he asked me out on a date and we went hiking and dinner. He asked me on our hike to be his gf and he deleted all his dating apps at the restaurant. I thought it was weird at first but he was very serious about us

Mind blown. Love this lady. I resonated with her thinking. Since my beloved dad died suddenly I've been praying for him daily, and look for ways to keep his legacy alive. I've taken on his positive traits and any time I do act of service I put it in his tab. Every day I look for ways I can be kind and be of help and send it his way. My dad was a mother and a father to me and an astounding one at that. He was the most righteous person I or anyone who knew him got to know. Even his enemies had nothing bad to say about him and cried for him when he died. Now I'm suddenly an orphan going about life solo but embracing the pain. It's making me so much stronger and I'm gaining more confidence every day. He shows his presence to me regularly and has made me aware he's at peace, that I was and still is his priority, and that he's always with us. It was communicated across in a way I knew couldn't have been a coincidence. One day I cried and asked him why he doesn't let me know he's OK, following day a distant relative I hadn't spoken to in years messaged to say she had a dream of my dad and he'd asked her to let me know he was OK and at peace. No chance of coincidence. The only question left for him to answer is confirming I will indeed reunite with him. Inspite everyone saying we do, I need to hear it from him.

I recently transformed by perception that yoga/meditation is not about clearing the mind and blocking things out and making things quiet, it's actually about being present and recognized everything you're feeling with intention, body & mind.
I respect this woman so much. I explored my mediumship and psychic abilities for about 3/4 years. What troubled me was the overwhelming influence what you tell people can have on their future. I felt like I was intruding into their psyche… Therefore I did not pursue it ‘commercially’ I felt that it was my duty to empower people on their own journey to discover their intuition… Rather than them becoming dependent on others.
I'm glad I listened to this. I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder and I'm always like. This is a sign and I'm doomed. I think the worst. It's terrible. I hate being in fight or flight. This gives me some relief

@12:00 I had a similar download of knowing in 2017 while I was at my studio 20 minutes from home - I had this strong feeling I needed to go home and check on my dog around 8 PM (we had planned to keep working until 10 PM) - I followed the knowing and got home to find the dog (who had been perfectly healthy) collapsed on the floor - sadly he passed away but I was able to be there with him in his final moments. This was a key event in my own psychic awakening - 7 years later I now teach remote viewing & Intuitive Development.

I tell my kids to trust the feeling in their tummies all the time. I tell my 6 year old, if she gets a funny feeling in her tummy, telling her something isn't right or if she gets a yucky feeling in her tummy about a person, to trust it and listen to it. I wish I had known this earlier myself. It's so sad that we get taught to make most of our decisions from logic. But, I am so grateful I get to teach my children to trust their natural abilities.

The messages that I receive are thoughts that pop up in my head. However, I oftentimes hear songs. No music is playing, but a few words from a song will pop into my mind. They are always spot on with that is going on and what I need to hear. Anyone else experience the same thing?
My mother passed 2019 from metastatic cancer that took her within 10 days. Very fast she was 54, she was very spirited and had faith that moved mountains. I couldn’t seem to understand why she was taken so young. I now believe their are reasons beyond our control. She visits here and there and man does it bring me to tears when she does. This video in itself I believe is a sign from her. Those two books that she wrote are what got me through. One morning I woke up to the book signs in my audible unsure of how it got there because I had not downloaded it. This was a couple months after she passed, the book moved me in such a way for SO MANY signs popped up after I opened my eyes to believing. I get chills writing this. Later I read the light between us and just felt it in my heart that everything she spoke of was true. Last night I missed her so much asking if she’s here to let me know. I know angels are busy and are living their eternal life but when learning that they do feel us and feel our love I asked. This morning I wake up to this video talking about both books that allowed me to talk with mom again. Thank you for this, Shetty and Laura for such a beautiful podcast.

I love the comment that having peace in our lives is under rated! I have very intentionally cultivated deep peace in my life starting in my late forties after what felt like a lifetime of drama. Friends still living in drama and frenzy don’t get it.

I started becoming aware at exactly 13 years old, having OOBE's and just a knowing, but always wondered why it started or was obvious at that age. Crazy for me to get that answer only days after just randomly bringing it up to a friend.❤

A wonderful conversation thank you for this video, while listening I noticed a lot of similarities of things I knew but needed to hear again. I’ve been struggling with accepting my journey and why I have thoughts that I feel don’t belong to me or past things that have happened that I have a hard time understanding, but I should be trusting that it happened for a reason. I have always felt a connection to psychic energy and people - having dreams, deja vu, channeling words and phrases to others, knowing things I have no idea how I knew, feeling presences around me and being able to talk to them. This ability is also in my parents life- my father has had moments of knowing people have passed unexplainably or predicting things they couldn’t have known. This video was very validating and I just wanted to share how important your conversation was for me and my journey, thank you 💗
One of my favorite interviews so far. The questions are very well thought out and targeted to get the listeners to better understand and relate to the conversation. I could relate to so many things Laura mentioned such as going towards my best friend at the age of 13 and asking her to be my friend or receiving apologies from loved ones who are no longer in the physical body and so much more. I’m a PhD scientist and appreciate how topics that seemed to be so “woo woo” are easily discussed.
It's funny that she mentioned the topic of tangible signs from your spirit guides. As I was watching this interview, within the first 30 minutes, a crow came to visit me outside my window. It was perched on top of a FedEx truck. Talk about delivering a message. Lol

My Mom’s passing 7 years ago started me on the journey of desiring to reconnect with her and my other ancestors. This episode found me a week after the 7th anniversary of her passing and during a time of feeling very disconnected from her, lonely and hurting. What an amazing episode ❤ so much to think about… I’ve had signs all throughout my life. I see 1111 and 222 and 333 and 444 so often. Also, I see signs through the color yellow. I feel so validated that these may be from my team of light. ❤❤
At 51, I went through a spiritual awakening last year when someone had astral projected to me. It changed my life and became concrete to me that we have a spirit. And then I had I had divinely guided confirmations on what had happened to me. I felt so loved and seen by God to have this experience that I saw the entirety of our existence completely different. Life is indeed a gift, we have chalenges in this life so that we can see how strong we are as we genuinely overcome them while still staying in a loving heart. Love your fellow brothers and sisters.
Listening to this just gave me chills and freaked me out. Around 15 years ago spirits connected to me all the time i didnt understand it. I would see faces of people i never knew and my brain tried to match the face to people id met. After a while i had to switch it off because it was draining. I asked them to leave me alone and they did. Whats given me the chills is i startee listening to this and thought of my passed grandfather. He came to me on a sunday. We have an amazing day. Hes usually grumpy but i take after him so i cant really say much about that. However he was happy and pleasant all day the best id seen him in ages. The very seat he sat in i fell asleep on it the next day...saw pure white light like the rooms on the matrix and saw two chairs....with his belated ex wife of 45 years and a lady he met and adored afterward. Oddly i just saw their legs...but knew it was them. They were calm happy and just loving. As i had this dream my little boy was asleep on my chest so i was aware he was there and also aware during the dream. I woke up thinking it was odd and very vivid. Over two weeks....and she said this also in this video. Something wasnt right. He usually called me most days and id not heard from him I started worrying. Went to his house he wasnt there. Called the hospitals and discovered he was there but vecause i never had authority to see him they wouldnt allow me to go. I battled for the first week and finally managed to get to see him. Spent the day by his side and caught covid off another patient and was unable to go back. He died. The crazy thing was his last day with me was almost like it was planned. Next day saw his wife in a dream. A month or so later he came to me.......connected and didnt want to go. Shortly after my wife left me and i said to him why did you go when i needed you the most. He replied....i died so i could be with you all the time now and died exactly at the time when that was required. His death was spiritually planned for me....thats insane. As i was walking around the shop and he was talking to me my body drained. I got to an isle and i said i cant stay connected like this. He replied i know i can feel it too. He knew it was draining me. He said....can i see you again I replied grandad you dont have to ask that....and then he went. And that was that......not felt him since
Beautiful! Water is a good conductor. Drink more water and ground yourself , meditate and give him permission. Sometimes, when they know we are hydrated enough it is easier to channel their energy
I loved this conversation and I completely believe in signs. since my mum passed away last year, I have been getting these wonderful experiences with birds. sometimes they fly directly into my apartment and stare at me for a short minute and fly out. I know she's looking out for me.
I just watched a short interview with her last week. I'm looking forward to this longer conversation. Her perspective is very interesting and I find it resonates with things I've experienced.
You answered many of my questions and concerns I’ve had over the past few months. Recently and for the first time I was able to meet my spirit guides and it was a very miraculous set of events that I am proud to be apart of. Since then I’ve felt disconnected and afraid that they are no longer near me of even that my choices have placed me far from them. But thanks to your wisdom I feel more confident about reconnecting and I know now that I can do so. So thank you so very much. Sometimes it’s hard to put our trust and faith in a higher power but I know that doing so and asking for the help we need can transform our everyday lives. Thank you again for the knowledge!
