I had done an essay on Qatar for uni a year ago. It was found out Qatar employers would convince Nepalese men to work on the stadiums. So the men would get a loan from Loan Sharks and once they got there, their passports were confiscated. Becoming a slave. The places they sleep are like cages. Its sickening.
I’ve been saying for years that the League Cup should become a U23 competition that way the cup might actually have reason to exist and not just be a shit FA Cup
Fifa Playa mate Goodison park is half empty in the early rounds like most of the premier league stadiums. Even a lot of the championship stadiums aren’t full.
@@heinzdoofenshmirtz8643 I'm ngl i've posted this comment a year ago and so much has happened its looking even more likely that we'll actually make it into a world cup 😳
Wasn’t there an idea for the USA World Cup (forget the year) they wanted more points awarded for goals scored from further out? That for me is the dumbest idea I’d heard
8:33 As a Greek I agree 100% let's put it in Portugal!!! I even suggest having every tournament in that one country!!! Mostly because we propably have a better win rate there than our home ground...
0:46 If only it was made back in 1998 or in 2003... My club(Panathinaikos) would be among the best in Europe while now we had more owner changes than Watford had managerial changes and our fans want our current owner burnt on a stick...
10:25 Yes because they would 100% score in 15 minutes against a team whose Goalkeeper was forced to collect the ball 0 times out of his net in qualifier games...
Agree with all of this. What do you make of some of the ongoing proposed changes that may one day come into effect? Like the stop watch 30 minute halves? Or the old firm going the EFL?
Yooo the 39th game thing is something we do in the Super League (Rugby league by the way) and its a right laugh, all the teams go to a stadium in england and the fans fill the place, just a weekend of booze, banter and rugby... Probably not be on this year though....
FIFA's reasoning for splitting host nations to 3-4 nations is down to: 1. Giving smaller nations a chance to experience a major sporting event 2. Splitting up investment on stadium constructions. So things wont turn out like Brazil where after the world cup, half the stadiums aren't used anymore. 3. Building international cooperation and relations through sports
Scissors cuts paper, paper covers rock, rock crushes lizard, lizard poisons Spock, Spock smashes scissors, scissors decapitates lizard, lizard eats paper, paper disproves Spock, Spock vaporizes rock, and as it always has, rock crushes scissors.
That 39 game idea would be good if it was between the teams that have the same amount of points and on a neutral ground to decide who wins the title but not all teams
@@jackwilkins8289 i know, sorry if you misunderstood, im just making a general point about people feeling sorry for footballers who have to play when its hot
The League cup is used to put the winner in the euros when a top 4 wins the FA cup but if a top 4 team wins the League cup 6th will go through to the groups and 7th will go through qualifier so if Watford beat city last year in the fa cup final then Watford would be in the groups and united would qualify in the qualifiers
World Cup in winter 2020 is great idea even if it's in wrong country. Im a blades fan. Next year our team get a nice mid-season break whilst most of the premier league have worn out players.
