I love this. I felt almost no pain when I did this sequence. I did other videos yesterday and I felt better but this morning when I got up from bed, the pain returned. I´ll perservere Joelle! You´re a great teacher! xxx

Thank you Joelle, I have very bad pain in my right hip, bursitis. I had a hip transplant 31 years ago and try to go also to yoga classes. I can’t bend forward though only backwards. I’m trying your classes every day and hope it helps!

Hi Joelle:-) Thankyou for making these Hip bursitis VIDEOS!!Of all the videos I looked at I found yours easily the best.Your presentation demos,gentle voice made it a pleasure to follow the asanas.I `m 84 newly diagnosed with trochanteric bursitis waiting for cortisone injection.I was a Physical Education teacher in Briitsh Army in schools in UK ,USA,CANADA and finally Australia.I`ve always done HATHA YOGA in my fitness routine.I now do YOUR 10 minute routines regularly on a morning and find them VERY beneficial!Keep that SMILE going it`s inspitational!Congratulations on an excellent series! Thank for these yoga exercises I’ve just had an acute hip bursitis so painful I received acupuncture from my physical therapist he said it was to inflamed for exercises but a week later I found your yoga channel so day two a little sore but will keep going 🤞🏻love and light to you x🙏🏻x

Thank-you Joelle and I forgot all about your channel for fibro yoga and have found it again. I have been doing Kassandra but this is where I need to be! I have the worst bursitis in my right side and nothing seems to help. Im going to do this and other hip videos you have and I will do those too, and let you know how it goes.

Thank you thank you thank you! It took me three years to get my hip bursitis under control until last week when it flared up again to the point of tearful pain. Ive tried so many different exercises that just didn’t work but after doing your videos the pain is easing. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

Hi Donna, so glad you enjoy them! Feel free to skip anything that doesn't feel comfortable to you, or for that particular exercise you can stay on hands and knees rather than sitting all the way back down towards your heels. Happy Birthday! Sorry I'm a bit late. Thank you so much for uploading all these great sequences. I have been struggling with hip pain over the last two weeks and these exercises have made such an incredible difference. The pain has greatly reduced already. I have a request. I find a lot of yoga poses difficult because my feet have almost no flexibility, so even positions like child's pose ca be quite difficult to hold for any length of time. Could you recommend a sequence for increasing foot flexibility? Thank you so much again!!

That's a great question! I'd say that for most people, this kneeling practice is probably on the more challenging side as compared to several of the other practices. So I'd probably start including it in week 3 along with the standing practice, and you can see if your body seems to respond better to one or the other, or alternate them. I hope that helps and that you enjoy the 4-week program!
