I never planned to become a RU-vidr, it kinda just happened and suddenly it's now my 10 years anniversary. I've grown from being the redhead with dreadlocks to the woman I am now, two very different versions. This video is a mix of celebration and reminiscing. Oh, Elise… A very happy 10 years to you… I really have enjoyed watching you this past year, and even though I dipped my toe in a couple of times in years past, for some reason, I just felt drawn into you this year! And I am going to go out on a limb after I’ve heard you talk about the universe… As a believer in God, and Jesus Christ, who came to die for our sins, and then defeated sins, so we can walk in freedom, I would just with all my heart encourage you to take a look at God. The universe is not a person, and it’s kind of like “ almost there”, but it seems you do recognize there’s something more powerful than yourself, and there is. Our good good father…you may not know much about him, you may have seen other people confess Christ, and act not like one of his, but whatever it is. I hope that you would take a tiny bit of time to take a look at the Bible and see that it is not the universe. It is a good holy father, who loves you and is in control and is sovereign and is good. That doesn’t mean he’s a genie and we ask him for anything we want, and he gives it to us, he created you and all of us, and this whole world and the universe he is the God of the universe! blessings upon blessings to you, dear Elise. I started watching you when you were fixing up the house that (dare I mention the boyfriend?) the father of the BF bought right out from under you … seeing you put it all out there was - really something. I found those videos because I was fixing up my new house and I needed some inspiration. But then you became like a friend, and I back-watched all your old videos too. I found your channel about a year ago and watched all your videos to date because of your honesty, beauty and passion for beautiful things… which appeal to me still at 78. Age has no boundaries when sharing gardening and your vintage clothing etc. I totally understand wanting to share your accomplishments with someone special. I started watching when you were renovating the previous house and leaving the apartment. So, for a while now. I fell in love with your channel especially when you got your cottage. I love gardening too. Love retro and vintage everything. Same here. I even did dreads because of her but it only lasted a month haha. Really takes dedication to keep them going. But being a single mom of two and working full time ...just couldn't do it even though I loved them. I might go a few months without watching her videos but then it's nice to binge them all. I miss the allotment garden days. That place was adorable and she put so much into it! I hope the new owners didn't change it too much. I live that she finally found her house! I hope she stays for a long time. I'm so looking forward to more house stuff!

Probly been watching two years from Australia. On a very low income since being a carer, then full hip replacement surgery. You remind me of when I was younger, so much energy & entusiasm & creativity with purpose in what you do. While I can’t afford to buy yet, happy to share your videos for others to support.
