I have the kilometers indication blinking in my GT 3.2 V6; it started after winter, the battery was empty so i removed it to reload it (as I did other times in the past) and then put it back and reconnected it. When I started the engine, I noticed that the kilometers are blinking. It never happened before. And I haven't changed anything. Do you know how to fix this issue? Many thanks and regards.
@@zapoi67 Yes, connect it to diagnostic tool and see which node on canbus network is missing. First do a proxy alignment, if that solves the issue you're good. If it keeps on blinking you need to address the component that's missing on canbus network. regards

Yes, but I've read on some forums it's actually possible to get that option back on both 147 and GT Alfa's, but it takes some skills to get the right program into the computer. Won't be trying that myself :D
Thanks for posting this. My Alfa Spider's windows would not close fully, after recharging a flat battery. I followed these instructions, and now windows close properly. You have to wonder why Alfa don't put these instructions in the hand book!

Is not a big problem to make close windows via key avilable in lift models after 2006. You need to connect pins 2 with 3 and 7 with 8 in drivers door module by 1 Kohm resisstors, then connect PC with MES and there in "Body" just turn on this option and do proxy alignment procedure. That's all.
On the matter of the windows, I would like to ask you, please: the one mine on the driver's side (left side, as your gt) window, when activated, automatically goes up to the top of the whole and then descends alone to a quarter of the total. I can only close it, uploading it with small touches, until it gets up. Nor now, it opens that little when you open the car (and closes when you close the door) or lower the window when you press the opening, as before. You have an idea of what I can do to get it back to normal (the trick you mentioned in the video, it didn't work for me). As always, thank you so much for your videos and for being there.

Alan Beggs Can’t say I’ve heard of a proxy realignment before. Its news to me. It’s my lack of knowledge I guess. Does it require a diagnosis tool through the OBD port? Otherwise I’ll try the ECU reset as suggested by ARC.
@@teamfear4496 yes its done with a diagnostic tool,I have successfully reset it once with the ecu reset as described by ARC garage but i replaced the door cards recently which involves disconnecting the window control panel(This is what causes the flashing) and the ecu reset didnt work this time. If you search the alfaowner forums you will find plenty info on this.It can be done using multicuscan software and the correct adapters I believe but i havent had the time to try it yet.Otherwise your mechanic should be able to reset it with his diagnostic tool.Mine has been flashing for months now🙄

in this way on my alpha 147 petrol 1.6 -2006 year the check is not erased, and I do not know what the problem is and why the catalyst is hollow (it is cut)
@@arcgarage I have ELM and VAG kkl, ELM for dashboard, body and climate control, VAG kkl for engine,abs,airbag,headlights and services, i'm using this with multiecuscan software but I didn't found option to turn on needle sweep... It would be great if you can find that option with your ELM cable...
I also have ELM, KKL, and all of the adapters and I am using it with full version of MES, but I have issues with ELM cable, that's why I bought the modified one. I'll get it soon, and check it out...
You can leave the car, as I did after maybe 5 minutes, although the safest way to do it is to stay in the car, since things like modules which control the windows, doors, etc., also get reprogrammed... Now you can't do any damage, but you might have to repeat the process again...

@@arcgarage I know about that reset method. But, here is another problem. Window don't respond when press button , also when open/close the door. Nothing happens
Try with ECU reset procedure, I've actually fixed an issue once when passenger window didn't respond. However, if your windows don't respond to window buttons/switches, you probably have different issue. If that's the case I would start with fuses and work my way toward the switches and window motor...
